The technological giant of South Korea, Samsung Electronics, said on Tuesday that his executive co-chief Han Jong-Hee died of cardiac arrest. Han was 63 years old.
Han was in charge of the Mobile and Electronic Division of Samsung consumption, while another Jun Young-Hyun co-hyun supervises the chips business of the largest company in South Korea.
The news of Han’s death occurs when Samsung faces a growing competition of Chinese rivals in the smartphone market, as well as on his television and other consumer electronics businesses. Samsung has also given up its crown from the smartphone market for Apple.
Han died of cardiac arrest as he received treatment in a hospital during the free time, a company spokesman said, added that a successor had not yet been decided.
Samsung Electronics’s actions were stable in morning trade.
Han was appointed Vice President and CEO of Samsung Electronics in 2022, and one of the members of the company’s board.
