The music of the night will continue for eight weeks than expected.

Broadway musical “The Phantom of the Opera” announced in September that it would close in February due to the decrease in ticket sale, but the plans have changed.

On Tuesday, the producer of the program, Cameron Mackintosh, announced that the program will now run until April 16.

An unexpected sales reinforce The New York Times.

“What phenomenal response has been at the end of the program,” Mackintosh told The Times. “We have sold practically everything we have for sale.”

The musical will celebrate its 35th anniversary in January.

With the music of the famous composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, “Phantom” presents a masked music lover pursued by Paris’s opera.

The Broadway show is directed by Hal Prince. In 1988, the program won seven Tony Awards.
