Of course, you can sell them to fossil collectors, join the society of galactic palatics, hunt bones and more. However, accessing excavation sites will not be easy, since the mysterious guardians will rise to stop you.
You can also find the bones of resurrected creatures and can enjoy new recipes that provide different benefits. The stone effigies also wait to be discovered and there are even worms of mass bones to fight.
