Noise buds were introduced to India in February. With these TWS headphones, the company ventures out of its budgetary segment and in a slightly more premium category. At a reasonably beautiful price of RS. 7,999, these helmets offer an audio with bose adjustment and a total battery life of up to 44 hours to interested buyers. After spending the last two weeks with the Master Buds, I can tell you one thing or two about what to expect from them.
Design and characteristics of noise noise buds: virtues of vinyl
Weight – 4.2 g (each bud); 40g (case)
Colors – Onyx, silver, titanium
The individual noise bud headphones wear a familiar design, similar to most other intra-ear TWS helmets on the market. Tactile sensors are located towards the upper part of the rod and marked by small metal discs. The headphones are placed vertically in the housing and the load connectors are placed downwards. This helps to avoid any unwanted metal-skin contact.
TWS headphones can be used for a long time without fatigue
They are shipped with three earlier options: small, medium and large. The way was most comfortable for me and was good to use a section for a few hours at my office or traveling without fatigue. However, I would advise you to use them in the gymnasium or for your regular shopping. They tend to move away from their place with a lot of movement.
The front of the storage and load housing of noise noise buds includes a larger metal disc resembling an old vinyl recording, with grooves and ridges. This adds a separate look to the case and serves as a shiny fidget toy. Although a charge box is coupled with a fidget toy is not the only mark of a good design, I would lie if I said that it was not one of the biggest reasons for which the design won me. If you have already had a pop-it or a spinner at your office, you will understand. The case is easily in your palm, and you can open it and close it easily with your thumb.
We also find a pill -shaped light bar on the disc in the two -hour position, inspired by a vinyl needle. A respiratory effect indicates the pairing / connectivity and the condition of the headphones. The coupling button is placed at the back of the case. The noise logo is marked at the bottom of this disc and at the top of the case. The latter is accompanied by an imprint of the slogan “Sound by”. The USB Type-C load port is placed downwards.
Master Buds noise application and specifications: effective essentials
Driver – 12.4 mm
Companion application – noise audio
Gesture checks – Yes
Master Noise buds are compatible with the noise audio application. In fact, currently, it is the only TWS headphones in the company that are compatible with the application. You must connect to the application using your email identifier and your phone number. On the home page, you see the headphones level of the headphones and the case. It has a monochromatic and easy -to -navigate provision. No frills, just the essential. There are three main categories that the application allows us to personalize, starting with noise control, tactile gestures and the equalizer.
The Noise audio application has an easily accessible provision
Among the different noise control modes are “noise control” and “transparency” modes. The “ANC on” mode includes noise cancellation levels: low, medium and high. The personalization section of touch gestures is also quite simple. For left and right headphones, you can customize actions for gestures such as one, two or three taps and a tap and maintain. You can also switch the intraericular detection function from this section.
I chose not to give a task to the unique tap gesture to minimize the chances of incorporating an action when adjusting the earphones. I allocated the double tap on the right and left headphones for the volume from top to bottom, respectively. Truck on the straight bud three times would take me on the next track when I play music while typing three times on the left activates the vocal assistant function. Finally, the action of TAP-AND-GOLD on the right earpiece would activate or deactivate the space audio function, and do the same on the left would help me to switch between the different old modes. These are the parameters I used to best manage my controls. You are of course of course enjoying personalization in accordance with your preferences.
The Noise audio application allows us to personalize a three -band equalizer where we can adjust the level of the bass, medium and triple ranges on vertical cursor scales. It also has three predefined modes, including jazz, club and rock, apart from a default “equal” mixture.
Helmet audio performance leaves very little space for complaints
The headphones are equipped with 12.4 mm titanium pilots and support up to 49 DB ANC alongside the audio Bose diet. They support the LHDC 5.0 audio codec, double -device connectivity and space audio without head tracking. Helmets are supposed to offer a total battery life of up to 44 hours, including up to six hours, with just the headphones on a single load.
Performance of noise buds and battery life: Middling Maestro
ANC – 49DB
Auto -batterie (ancho) – Six o’clock (bud), 44 hours (case)
Quick load – Yes (claimed 10 minutes until six o’clock)
Bluetooth – V5.4
Now let’s talk about USP and audio performance of Master Noise buds. They come with “Sound by Bose”. The possibility that this slogan was another marketing gadget was thin but not zero. However, with the audio setting that these TWS headphones offer, we can safely say that bose impressions, or rather the sound quality that we relate to Bose, is perceptible. The balance between high and low frequency audios, without becoming muddy to the extreme, is proof.
Despite the presets of jazz, club and rock, I especially enjoyed using the Master Noise buds in the default musical mode. This offers reading with bass, treble and equally balanced average tones. The personalization of the equalizer, although simpler with three bands, also left me by sometimes wanting more granular control. But I’m not Shirley Walker, so I can’t say that this factor has greatly weighed on my global experience.
Grooves and ridges of the design in double vinyl as a fidget tool
The audio performance of noise buds really leave very little room for complaints. Is this something that you expect from studio level helmets? No. Is it remarkably better than most budget offers on the market market? Yes. Starting from the crisp high notes in the interpretation of Joan Baez of “House of the Rising Sun” at the Heavy Baryton but clear by Leonard Cohen in the song “You Want It Darker”, the experience was delicious. Even a more punchy and heavy track like “Haegum” by Agust D was very pleasant. I expected a disappointment in certain corners, but there was no confusion with the ANC or audio cracks at a higher volume.
The disappointment, however, appears in terms of connectivity. The Master Noise buds support Bluetooth 5.4 and the LHDC 5.0 audio codec. The Google Fast pair function works well. The loss -free audio transmission and even the Bluetooth range are correct. With my phone on my desk at home, I could walk, make coffee, feed my cats or sprinkle my plants on the balcony without any clips.
The problem begins with a double peripheral matching. Although you expected to switch between, let’s say, your PC and your audio for smartphone are transparent, that’s anything but! The track you play on the initial device is not immediately audible and requires some restarts or resets. There is also considerable audiovisual delay during streaming. He is disconcerting, especially by trying to watch a film or a show. Multiple restarts sometimes solved the problem, but there were cases where I kept the master buds of pure frustration. And it takes a lot from the total experience.
The headphones offer an anc / in decent performance
The spatial audio function of Master Buds buds without the head follow -up is not remarkable. The performance of the ANC is good and works well in the lively streets or crowded stores. The noise reduction function works well and offers a decent call experience.
Another virtue of noise buds is their battery life. The real use offered is close to the claimed reading time. Without ANC, just the headphones can last up to five hours and 53 minutes on a single load, while with the ANC, this time of use falls at around three hours and 56 minutes. A quick charge of 10 minutes can help the headphones last approximately five hours and 35 minutes, without ANC, at 50% volume.
Broise Master Buds: Verdict
For a pair of TWS headphones with a good balanced audio setting and a decent battery life, we rarely need to think twice if they are worth buying. The noise buds hit the bumps at a few levels which are apparently secondary at a glance but become vital while considering the overall experience. As a person who connects with several devices throughout the day, the seamless multi-peripheral pairing is almost non-negotiable. It was perhaps better if the double pair functionality was not supported. With this drawback and an adjustment not worthy of gym, despite audio performance and battery life, these helmets line up as a chaotic good.
Considering that you get an audio with bose adjustment and a total battery life of up to 44 hours for less than 10,000, should you get them? At the price of RS. 7 999, you can opt for the bourgeons masters of noise if you most often connect them to a single electronic device. In addition, if you don’t mind get on the wave of high latency and have headphones with a cool case design, it’s for you.
In the same price range, you can also consider the Nothing Ear (A) exam, which was launched in India in April 2024 and should offer total reading time up to 42.5 hours. They support the integration of chatgpt, up to 45 DB ANC and IP54 Dust and Splash Resistance Rating for headphones.
