The stars and creatives behind the controversial drama Netflix Baby Rendeur lead to the BAFTA TV Awards of this year with eight nominations.
They include a best head sign for the Scottish actor Richard Gadd, who is also the creator of the series, as well as the best appointment of support actress for Jessica Gunning, who plays Stalker Martha and the Co-Star Nava Mau (Teri).
There are six nominations each for Mr. Bates vs the post, the Disney + rivals and the slow horses of Apple TV +.
Ant and Dec (Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night to remember), Claudia Winkleman (The Planors) and Stacey Solomon (Sort your life) are among the nominees for the best entertainment performance.

The best nominees for the actress are Anna Maxwell Martin (until I kill you), Billie Piper (SCOOP), Lola Petticrew (Say Nothing), Marisa Abela (Industry), Monica DOLAN (M. BATES VS The Post Office) and Sharon D Clarke (Mr. Loverman).
David Tennant (Rivals), Gary Oldman (Horses slow), Lennie James (M. Loverman), Martin Freeman (The Responder) and Toby Jones (M. Bates vs the Post Office) face Gadd for the best actor distinction.

Solomon’s show is also in place for the best factual entertainment, facing the big tour of Rob and Rylan, in Vogue: The 90s and Race around the world.
The Danny Dyer soap star won his first BAFTA appointment in the best category of men’s performance for his role in Mr. Bigstuff.
The best female appointments in this category include Ruth Jones for Gavin and Stacey and Nicola coughlan for great humor.
In the prestigious category of theater, the Criminal Dramas Blue Lights and Sherwood will face the Supacell superhero series and the acclaimed drama Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light.
But while Damian Lewis won an appointment for the best support actor for his representation of Henri VIII, there was no best actor sign for his star Mark Rylance, who plays the intrigue advisor, Thomas Cromwell.
Rylance won the best coveted actor award for the first Wolf Hall series in 2016.
The recognition of Mr. Bates VS The Post Office and the Wolf Hall comes following concerns about the future of these dramas due to budgetary pressures.
The club 1%, the big show by Michael McIntyre, Taskmaster and would I lie to you? are all ready for the best entertainment program.
The best reality TV nominees are Dragons’ Den, The Jury: Murder Trial, Love is blind and the traitors.

The six nominated for a memorable moment, the only price voted by public members were revealed earlier this month, although they are not included in the appointment of appointments. They are:
- Bridgerton – “The” car scene where Colin admits his real feelings for Penelope
- Gavin & Stacey: the final – Smithy’s wedding: Mick gets up
- Mr. Bates vs the post office – Jo Hamilton phones The Horizon assistance line

Baby Rendeur is also nominated for the best limited series, alongside Mr. Bates vs the post office, the adaptation of the novel by David Nicholls One Day and Lost Boys and Fairies.
Ariyon Bakare by Mr. Loverman, Ariyon Bakare, Christopher Chung and Jonathan Pryce, Wolf Hall: The Mirror and The Light of Damian Lewis, McKinley Belcher III III, Le Mirror and The Gathering de la Light.
Alongside Gunning and Baby Rendeur, the nominees of the supporting actress are Katherine Parkinson of Rival, Say Nothing’s Maxine Peake, Monica Dolan de Sherwood and Sue Johnston de Truelove.
Say Nothing has four appointments in total, including the best international program.
It is an adaptation of Patrick Radden Keefe’s book on the history of IRA prize sisters.
Alma’s second NOT NOT series is nominated again for the scripted comedy, while her star and designer, Sophie Willan, is the best female actress in this genre. Willan won the two prizes for the first series at 2022 BAFTAS TV.
The other nominees of comedy scripted this year are Brassic, Ludwig and G’Wed.
Dylan Thomas-Smith is ready for the best performance of male comedy for the latter.
New nominees
Meanwhile, the acclaimed documentary series Life and Death in Gaza (Storyville) has four nominations, including the best factual series.
The president of the BAFTA, Sara Putt, said: “Stories that made the nation speak, to courageous documentaries on conflicts and real events, this year’s television appointments celebrate the exceptional creativity and crafts of British and international television, and talented people who give it to life and offer.”
Almost half of performance nominees receive their first television appointment.
The Bafta TV appointments also include those recognized for a Bafta TV Craft price, which honors those behind the scenes in categories such as realization, publishing and sound.
Awards TV will be organized by Alan Cumming and will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC IPlayer on Sunday, May 11.
