The safes are specifically designed to be impenetrable, that is the whole point. That is great when you need to protect something, but it is a real problem when you forget the combination of your safe or when the combination of a safe is lost in history. In such situations, the Charles McNall’s self -health device can help.
This is a device, controlled by an Arduino One Rev3, which can join a traditional safe that has a marking combination block and perform a brute force procedure to find the combination. In simple terms, try each digit permutation until it runs with the correct combination for that safe.
The Arduino turns the dial with a step by step and there is an OLED screen for status information, with control buttons. The device joins the safe with magnetic supports and grabs the dial with a 3D printed chuck. There is also a magnetic clutch, which is important because it slides when the blocking mechanism falls in its place in a successful combination input. That prevents the autodialer from continuing after he finds the correct combination.
This can try combinations at a very fast pace, but it could still take several days or even weeks to succeed if each permutation has to try. Fortunately, it is possible to reduce the possibilities. That depends on the safe model, but design peculiarities tend to eliminate ranges of specific numbers and can help the cookie to find one or two dials through the sensation only before moving to the gross forced.
