Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players are discussing the possibility that the next map of shattered veil may be mocking a boss fight with a dinosaur.
In case you are not up to date with the latest news from Black Ops 6 zombies, it is now confirmed that we will get our next map in season 3.
Although the main update was initially scheduled for March 20, since then it has been delayed and will now arrive on April 3, 2025.
Those who finished the main search for the tomb will already know that our next destination is Edward Richtofen’s mansion in Liberty Falls. But after Treyarch launched a new teaser image of Shattered Veil, some fans believe they have already resolved with which prehistoric boss we will face.
Liberty Falls Mansion Map Dinosaur
Even before Treyarch revealed the name of his next zombie map, the developer had already published several images of the mansion on his social networks.
First we saw the veil mansion shattered in the introduction of Liberty Falls, where it was revealed that it was the home of Richtofen and the headquarters of the Janus project.
When Eddie fought against the waiting dead on her way to the secret basement that contains abandonment, a complete recreation of a T-Rex contains near the main staircase.
Now, a new image of the great lobby reveals our first complete look at dinosaur throughout its glory. Fortunately, despite screen catches dated ten days after zombie outbreak events, the T-Rex seems completely intact.
However, the dinosaur seems to have moved slightly, and its jaws are no longer as close to the stairs as in the trailer …
Since the statue in Citadelle des Mortts turned out to be the head of the map, it seems natural that fans suspect that we could be fighting a dinosaurs chief in our next map.
But is there any truth in this?
Here is why it is unlikely
Although a non-dead T-Rex that reached the night of life in the museum’s style would be a show for the view, we believe it is unlikely. It is likely that the change of position is just because Treyarch makes adjustments smaller to the map after releasing the cinematographic trailer.
In addition, we are quite sure that we know who will be the chief of shattered veil …
Since the location was home to the Eddie Richtofen series antagonist, it seems natural that it is involved a lot with the next round base map.
But since Richtofen was kidnapped at the end of the Liberty Falls Cinematic, he probably is not the boss.
On the other hand, we believe that Sam could be our main enemy this time, since AI seems to originate in abandonment prison.
The recreation of Samantha Maxis certainly seemed threatening enough in the introduction of Liberty Falls, and now we are about to deliver the sentinel device in his hands!
Could the Dinosaur of the mansion have its own Easter egg to discover? Maybe hides a secret passage, or acts as a trap against the unlocked?
We will have to wait and see when the shattered veil arrives at Black Ops 6 on April 3.
