Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone have just achieved a record count of low players after the activation delay of the update of the expected season.
If you are a cod fan, you are likely to get tired of waiting for the new content in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
The update of season 2 and its half -season review brought incredible content, such as the addition of the map of the zombies, and even a mutant ninja turtle adolescent event.
But now, it seems that fans are leaving Call of Duty for the moment, and the delay of season 3 surely does not help!
Call of Duty presents the lowest players count in months in Steam
According to Steamdb metrics, Call of Duty has just reached a 24 -hour peak of only 66,945 concurrent players. This is a significant fall since its historical peak of 491,000, which took place during the launch period of Modern Warfare 2.
Combined Call of Duty pitcher reached a minimum of only 32,242 users in the last 48 hours, which is amazingly low for the activation shooting franchise.

When Black Ops 6 was launched at the end of October 2024, the COD application reached a maximum of just over 315,000 users in Steam, and its players count has constantly decreased since then.
In December, the player base had fallen significantly, reaching a peak of around 192,600 concurrent users of Steam.
Now, the game reaches a maximum players of 70,000 simultaneous users every day, which is an alarming fall for activation, especially when it takes into account that the Call of Duty application contains more than just Black Ops 6.
These 70,000 players are divided into Premium titles such as Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops 6, as well as free experiences such as Warzone.

However, the figure is not really a reflection of the total count of Call of Duty players. After all, we are sure that COD is more popular in the console than on PC, although it is impossible to track console players.
In addition, some PC players will probably continue to play through Battle.net or Game Pass PC, which are equally impacable. But while we cannot be sure of the real totals of Call of Duty players, the decrease we see in SteamdB is very likely that it also reflects what other platforms are experiencing.
Why do fans leave Black Ops 6?
There is no unique reason about why Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty as a whole seems to be in decline.
Most likely, fans are tired of waiting for new content, which always helps increase players numbers. Every time a new season arrives, we tend to see the spike players counts.
Therefore, the recent two -week delay of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 probably didn’t help much. The update of season 3 will not be launched until April 3, when we hope to see players increase once more.
After all, Activision is making a great boost to revive the Warzone community by bringing back to Verdansk, the original Battle Royale Arena original.
It is very likely that the recent delay has been made to ensure that true is completely ready for launch, since we are sure that the editor is aware of how strong its user base is decreasing.

In addition, a new filtration reveals that Modern Warfare 4 may not be launched with Warzone 3, if Verdansk does not bring players back to the Battle Royale title.
The new games steal attention is inevitable
Of course, a counting of players decreasing is not as simple to explain as fans who lose interest.
There will be a number of contributing factors to consider, such as the launch of other popular video games that distract fans from putting their regular hours in COD.
In recent weeks, we have seen the launch of great success titles such as Monster Hunter: Wilds, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Split Fiction, each has hundreds of thousands of players in the game at the time of writing.

And for fans of the shooters, a new free title, Fragpunk, is currently receiving a good amount of attention, together with the usual list of Marvel rivals, Legends of Apex, Pubg and more.
We are quite sure that season 3 will be the brand or rest for Black Ops 6, and we hope to see some significant increases as the players flood to truth.
But if that can not even bring players back, Activision will probably begin COD 2025 marketing very soon, in an effort to capitalize on the exaggeration that always brings a new title.
Speaking of that, we have just obtained the complete list of weapons of Call of Duty 2025 that filter early, for all those who want a look at the next launch of Black Ops.
