Blue Prince of Dogobomb and Raw Fury has become the best qualified 2025 game so far at the Gamespot Sister Metacritic site.
In Blue Prince, players explore a mansion with changing rooms. In practice, players must navigate this mansion, solving the puzzles inside each room before deciding which one to enter next. It has a rail structure, so the rooms inside the mansion are restarted every day and can slowly be updated over time depending on the player’s actions. You may not have heard of Blue Prince before because it is a puzzle game in the first independent person. That said, critics love their experimental structure and are accumulating it with praise.
“Blue Prince is one of the most memorable video game experiences I have had,” Steve Watts of Gamespot wrote in a brilliant criticism. “It is both accessible and impenetrable, frustrating and euphoric. Like each of my dozen permutations of the Monor House of Mount Holly, it is really unique.”
Blue Prince is currently in a 92 in Metacritic, which makes its aggregate score the highest of 2025. Detrons Split Fiction, which currently has an aggregate score of 91. Monster Hunter Wilds, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and the rootes are dead, complete the five metacritic best-best visor games of The Year Fan Fan. That is an impressive company where Blue Prince is located, and suggests that it will be the independent darling of this year, just like Balrato was last year.
Blue Prince is not outside yet, and if you are a game passage subscriber, you will not even have to pay it when it is launched. It will be launched on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S April 10, and will be available as part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate catalog.
