Iqoo’s Z9X was a little competitive in terms of price, but only stood out due to the life of its battery and its fast charge capacities. His cameras were very basic, and the same can be said of his software, which was loaded to the brim with Bloatware and pushed spam notifications. Almost a year later, we have a successor, and this is called the IQOO Z10X. It seems that Iqoo has done its homework this time, because the Z10X seems ready to fight against competition.

Outside the box, the design of the IQO Z10X seems much better than the phone it replaces. Its environment of the frame (also in polycarbonate) has flat sides, but its rear panel has received a curved treatment near the edges. We received the phone in its ultramarine finish for examination, which has a lavender type color. However, Iqoo has added details in the form of a wave -shaped texture, which is visible when you turn the phone. I like it to be subtle and not as flashy as the iqoo neo 10r that I recently examined.
Unlike the IQO Z10 in the mid -range, the IQOO Z10X keeps its flat display panel.
Although things have improved in the back, it’s not the same with the front. The LCD screen, although having the same diagonal of 6.72 inches, the FHD + resolution and the 120 Hz refresh rate, has thick borders. The borders are the thinner on the sides (although not as thin as those of the IQO Z9X) but are thicker at the top and thicker at the bottom. It is easy to conclude that Iqoo has cut a few corners here, but more about this in our review.
The phone also retains its dust resistance and IP64 water rating of the IQOO Z9X. Given its coarse appearance and weight (204g), Iqoo decided to omit the 3.5 mm headphone jack, which was available on the previous model.

The camera module seems abnormally complex, since it offers only one camera accessible to the user. It remains as basic as before, with a primary camera of 50 megapixels (f / 1.8) (without Ois) and a depth camera of 2 megapixels (for the portrait camera mode). The selfie camera is also the same as before, and it is a unit of 8 megapixels. I certainly do not expect better performance in the photography department this year.
As for the basic equipment, there are some upgrades. A MediaTek Dimensity 7300 more recent processor offers maximum 2.5 GHz clock speed compared to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SOC used in the previous model. The 7300 GPU of the years is also much faster compared to the GPU in the IQO Z9X, so game performance should see certain improvements.

A basic RAM variant of 6 GB of 6 GB, an improvement compared to the basic variant of 4 GB of RAM that the IQOO Z9X offered. The IQOO Z10X is available in 6 GB + 128 GB (RS. 13 499), 8 GB + 128 GB (Rs. 14 999) and 8 GB + 256 GB (Rs. 16 499) Variants. There is support for several SA and NSA 5G brands and double 5G. There is no NFC, but you get Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.

The battery went from a unit of 6,000 mAh to a unit of 6,500 mAh. Given the most effective TSMC chipset this time, I can only expect the IQO Z10X even better than the IQO Z9X. The load remains the same as with the Z9X, which is 44W.
With many upgrades, we expect the IQOO Z10X to work better in certain areas compared to the IQO Z9X that we tested last year. We are not too confident on its prowess of the camera, which remain the same as before. I hope Iqoo took care of the boring spam notifications that we have experienced on the IQO Z9X this time. If you are looking for a big battery budget smartphone that will not break the bank, the IQOO Z10X may well be the right phone. But we recommend that you wait for our detailed opinion before choosing one.
