Oppo suggested that his X8 series came to India by allowing us to review his Find X7 Ultra Flagship earlier this year. The high -end smartphone centered on the camera was not launched in India, but it established the expectations of each concerning the latest Oppo product in terms of camera performance. It excited me a little, because the Oppo series has been missing in the action for four years. The latest devices in the X Finds series will be announced in India were Find X2 (and Find X2 Pro), but none of these elements were sold for better known reasons for Oppo.
And now Oppo has decided to relaunch its two flagship products centered on the camera in the country. The Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro are now about to take similar offers from other premium brands like Samsung and Apple. By keeping in mind the inheritance of Oppo of its Find series, the brand certainly has big shoes to fill. I have used these two smartphones for some time, and here is what I have observed about their cameras so far.
Oppo find x8 and find specifications of the X8 pro camera
The Oppo Find X8 has a triple rear camera configuration compared to the four rear orientation cameras of Find X8 Pro. There is also a notable difference between the material used, and this obviously makes the first less capable than the second.
By plunging into the material specifications, we have a primary camera of 50 megapixels on the two devices, but search X8 has a lower opening of f / 1.8 compared to the f / 1.6 opening of the Find X8 Pro, which should be able to take images more quickly in low light conditions. The ultra-represented 50 megapixel cameras on the two smartphones are identical, with a bright f / 2.0 opening and a large field of vision at 120 degrees (FOV). The same goes for 32 megapixel selfie cameras which have an f / 2.0 opening and can pull 4K.

The biggest difference here is the way the two cameras manage the zoom with their respective telephoto lens configurations. The X8 search has a single periscope camera (Ois) of 50 megapixels with 3x optical zoom. The Find X8 Pro has the same 50 -megapixel periscope telephotive camera, but an experience in shooting the telephoto lens by adding a second periscope camera (Ois) with a resolution of 50 megapixels and a 6x optical zoom. Naturally, this will improve its scope once we zoom in beyond the optical focal distance, which also makes Oppo Find X8 Pro the first smartphone to have two PERISCOPE telephotive cameras.

The Find X8 Pro also has a new tip in its sleeve – a camera button. For obvious reasons, Oppo had to mark it differently, so it called it a quick button. Apple aside, the button can also be compared to that available on Sony Xperia flagship products, because its main function is to allow you to take photos without touching the screen.
Take the phone out of your pocket, press the button and the camera twice instantly, ready to take photos. You can also slide your finger on the button to zoom in and go out, but I found it quite agitated in terms of operation because it was not as fluid as I expected. Keeping the capacitive button will activate what Oppo calls lighting lighting, which is a continuous explosion of images (or burst mode).
The new fast button can be a bit restless
To be very clear, the quick button is not a mobile but static button. It has a capacitive layer, which allows the application of the camera to detect the sweeps during zoom or tapping. However, keep in mind that the tap gesture will need you to support and keep on the surface and wait for the comments of the vibrations, which confirms that your actions have been recorded. After my initial use, it is difficult for me to make a verdict on the best phone and which phone offers better value. From the point of view of the camera, the Find X8 Pro definitively has an advantage in the department of Zoom, because few premium smartphones offer a 6x optical zoom these days. As for search X8, despite less cameras, it also seems to be completely capable, but I will have to test the two devices in different scenarios to see and deduce the strengths and weaknesses of each phone, not only with their cameras, but also with their design, autonomy and their screens.
