Anritsu initiatives in Osaka Expo 2025
The use of smartphones, tablets and other wireless devices by many visitors and staff of Expo 2025 will create a high density radio environment. This increases the risk of signal interference and interrupted communications, which could negatively affect the experience of visitors, as well as the operations between staff and exhibitors. To minimize these risks and support events without problems, Anritsu will implement the following measures:
- Continuous monitoring on the site for 184 days: Collect and analyze radiofrequency use data every hour during the entire expo period to admit stable wireless network management.
- Radio Interference Spot Research: Interference monitoring of unauthorized transmissions or devices, such as wireless microphones and prediction of possible interruptions.
- MONITORING OF THE EXPOSURE LEVEL TO RF: Collect data on radio wave density in the place, which is expected to be high, to contribute to future guidelines on RF protection.
- Evaluation of the radio environment: Measurement of network quality indicators, such as performance and latency, in various parts of the place to ensure that connectivity meets the demands of advanced services, including autonomous driving.
