Los Angeles-Ben Brown used a mixture of two pitches to launch six goals, and the Chicago puppies obtained 14 races in 15 hits in the last three tickets of a 16-0 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday night.
Michael Busch had four hits, including a homer and two doubles, and three ranked races, and Carson Kelly had three hits, including two home runs and three driven races. Ian Happ had three hits and two races, and Miguel Amaya limited an eighth of four races with a two -run home run to connect an attack by 21 -hits puppies.
He marked the worst defeat in the Dodgers home in the history of the franchise.
Brown (2-1) recovered from the unstable start of four tickets last Sunday against San Diego with a dominant effort of 84 launches in which he launched 56 fast four-seam balls (average of 95.6 mph) and 28 knuckle drums (86.9 mph). Brown struck out five and did not walk any.
Busch, the former man of public services of the Dodgers, led a fast 98 mph ball from the right of the Dodgers, Roki Sasaki (0-1) on the wall in the left center for a 1-0 advantage in the second. He folded and scored in Justin Turner’s Single for a 2-0 advantage in sixth, hit a simple RBI in the seventh and a double RBI in the ninth.
Sasaki was five tickets and allowed four hits and one race. The central gardener Andy Pages stole Busch from a Grand Slam with a jump capture at the top of the wall to finish the third inning.
Kelly Jonó to Ben Casparius to lead the seventh, and Amaya, Busch, Dansby Swanson and Nico Hoerner led races at the entrance, since the puppies turned a 2-0 advantage into a 7-0 mattress.
The puppies brought their total career of the major leagues to 112, 21 more than the New York Yankees in the second place.
The right Tyler Glasnow (1-0, was 6.43) will begin the end of the series for the Dodgers on Sunday. Colin Rea right (1-0, 7.36 era) will launch for puppies.
