Killer online one
There is a murderer in the waves … and they are calling you.
The darkness is coming over the Sidmouth sun, when an unsolved murder calls the attention of the Radio Radio presenter Edward Temmis.
Recently fired from his beloved work after a devastating tragedy, Edward is drifting, until he meets Stevie, whose grandmother, a devout listener, died in a suspicious fire last year. Well, nobody hurts his listeners and helping Stevie could give him the purpose he needs.
United by her old adventure, Kim, they discover that Stevie’s grandmother was not the only one of her listeners directed: this is only the tip of the iceberg.
But who is looking for your aged audience and why? And can Edward, Stevie and Kim get to the bottom of this mystery before it is too late?
My review of online murder one
The afflicted radio presenter Edward Temmis is in the heart of things!
Killer online one It is a very entertaining reading that I enjoyed a lot. I was not sure to expect, but what I got was an attractive mystery, threaded a sense of justice and a concern for the oppressed or the misfit in society. There is also a warm and human humor, especially through Stevie’s direct speech, which adds an additional layer of enjoyment.
I found the plot of rapid and intriguing rhythm and I loved the hooks at the ends of the chapters that drive the reader to want to discover more. Killer online one It has a kind of mycorrícola structure, with tentacles that extend within the local community, linking events and characters together very intricately. He took a little time to accommodate in those links, but once I did, I thought they were brilliantly executed; as was the way the story was resolved. I loved the meaning of the small claustrophobia of the coastal city that is also represented so clearly because it placed me there with the characters.
I thought those characters were excellent. The triumvirate of Edward, Kim and Stevie meets perfectly, so that the potential for future stories is established and leaves the reader definitely wanting more. Their lives, their interaction and the developing relationship between them, especially between Edward and Kim, feels authentic, natural and realistic. He was incredibly convinced by the way Edward’s pain is illustrated because he has a resonant depth that is emotional and identifiable. Sometimes I found myself very moved when they attracted their back history.
Equally attractive, given one of the author’s work as a radio presenter, it is the self -critical humor that surrounds Edward. Its elimination of the radio station, its need for approval and its understanding that it has quickly become non -pleasant personality, feels warm, humorous and managed with sensitivity.
Online murder One could, perhaps, define itself as a cozy crime with an additional advantage. The issues entangled through the narrative are modern, authentic and too frequent in the real world. Obviously, I don’t want to spoil the plot for others, but Jeremy came illustrates what could easily happen to any of us or someone we know. With a sensitive consideration of mental health, guilt, shame and impact of scams, there is an understanding of human nature that permeates history to be absorbent and stimulating, as well as interesting.
If I am honest, I never have great hope for books written by better known authors in other spheres, but here Jeremy Vine has confused me. There is a great feeling of him in writing, there is a perversely clear understanding of the radio transmission policy and, above all, there is a simple story that is very fun to read.
I thought Killer online one He was totally absorbent, ingenious and entertaining. I recommend it thoroughly.
