BYD EV INNOVATE-A-THON Advances to Prototype Phase, Showcasing India’s Next-Gen EV Talent

The third round of the prestigious Byd Ev Innovate-A-Thon was successfully launched at the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (Tiet), Patiala, as part of a unique collaboration of the industry-academia between Byd India, a subsidiary of the energy vehicle manufacturer n. ° 1 of the world and the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC). This round, focused on the development of prototypes, served as a platform for students to show innovative ideas that fuse the excellence of engineering, sustainability and real world applications in the domain of the electric vehicle (EV).

Designed to cultivate talent ready for the future for the evolutionary automotive sector of India, the initiative attracted the participation of engineering students in various disciplines and academic levels.
