An image of terrorist Harpreet Singh, based in the United States, aka Happy Passia, was released after being arrested and sent to the custody of immigration and customs compliance (ICE).
He supposedly entered the United States illegally and has been using burner phones to evade arrest.
In India, Singh is among the most wanted and has a reward of RS 5 Lakh in his head. It is said that he is responsible for 14 terrorist attacks in the last six months in Punjab. A series of explosions aimed at police establishments in Amritsar since November 2024 made security agencies begin to look for it. In most cases, the responsibility of attacks on social networks was attributed.
Security Forces said that Singh carried out terrorist attacks in collaboration with the Pakistan Isi and Babbar Khalsa International intelligence agency.
Among his last attacks he was at the house of a YouTuber and in the residence of the BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia, both located in Jalandhar.
