The Lava Agni series was the brand’s flagship offer in the mid -range segment. The Agni series is an attempt by the brand to give rigid competition to Chinese players like Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo, Vivo, and more in the mid-range segment and carved a niche for itself. The customers liked the Agni 1 and Agni 2, and it is now time for Lava Agni 3 to prove his courage. The brand’s latest smartphone is equipped with interesting features and specifications that distinguish it from the competition. Whether it is a new action button or a secondary screen, the Agni 3 5G certainly has areas to assume competition this time.
The price of the AGNI 3 5G lava in India starts at RS 20.999 for the basic variant with 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage. This variant has no charger in the box. For those who want a charger, the brand offers the same model with an RS price of 22,999. Finally, we have the high -end model with 8 GB of RAM + 256 GB of internal storage at the price of RS 24 999.
The Agni 3 lava is available in three storage configurations.
Speaking of the design language, the handset indeed offers a certain unique character in this price segment. The phone has two color options: virgin glass and heather glass. I had the Heather Glass color option for the exam, and it certainly gives a look and a superior feeling once you hold it. The dark purple matt finish adds charm, and the spots are not so visible.
The phone has a large module in the upper half that houses the camera sensors and the new secondary AMOLED screen. The right side of the device has a power / deactivation button, and there is also a new action key, which can be personalized for various actions. You can use a unique click, double click or a long press for different functions. The right side includes volume rockers. The top has an enclosure grille, while the base also wraps an speaker grille, a USB type-C port and a SIM location.
The smartphone contains an AMOLED 1.5K primary screen and also has a secondary screen.
The front panel offers a curved amoled screen with a punch hole design and minimum glasses. The company added a 6.78 -inch 1.5 km screen with a 120 Hz screen cooling rate and 1,200 ningles of advanced brightness. The display looks net and offers vibrant colors and a good amount of brightness for external use.
That said, one of the main strengths of the smartphone is the 1.74 inch AMOLED secondary display. The small display offers a plethora of features, which is rare on the Indian smartphone market. The Instacreen can act as a viewfinder for rear cameras, help you see the notifications, control the music player, offer a calorie step and tracker, a recording voice, a timer, a stopwatch, a weather, etc. He also has a special animated character known as Firey, who is undoubtedly cute and offers a lot of entertainment. We will discuss it in the next review.
The smartphone is equipped with a new action key, which is customizable.
AGNI 3 5G lava also contains good equipment at this price. You get the Mediatek Dimensity 7300X processor, which was launched for the first time in India with Motorola Razr 50. This is something I need to check to see how great the performance of the device is with the new Dimensity Chipset. However, at this price, it creates solid competition for other players who still offer slightly undernourished processors. For software, AGNI 3 lava has experience in Android 14 stock and the brand has also promised to provide three years of operating system updates and four years of safety updates.
Coming in optics, the company included a configuration to triple camera on the rear panel. The handset offers a Sony IMX662 primary sensor of 50 megapixels, an ultra-large angle target of 8 megapixels and a 3X telephoto lens of 8 megapixels with a 30x digital zoom. At the front, the device contains a 16 -megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. The company has also added certain AI features in the cameras department, which I will cover in the next criticism.
The smartphone has a triple camera configuration with a combination of a Sony IMX662 primary sensor of 50 megapixels.
In terms of battery, the Agni 3 lava packs a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 66W fast load. You also get stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and an IP64 note.
Overall, the Agni 3 5G lava looks like an interesting smartphone responsible for features. The handset stands out from the crowd with its unique features such as secondary display and action key. However, competition is also fairly strong in this price segment, including the IQOO Z9, OnePlus Nord CE4 (Revue), Redmi Note 13 Pro, and more. So stay listening with us to find out more about the Agni 3 lava in the next criticism.
