Jennifer Aniston is revealing how she managed to overcome her fear of flying, since flight anxiety increases amid the recent aviation news.

In a recent interview with Travel + LeisureThe actress, better known for her role as Rachel Green in “Friends”, shared that although she loves to travel, she has an “extreme fear of flying.”

Aniston would continue to small rituals while approaching a plane, including touching the exterior of the aircraft with its right palm and stepping on the plane with the right foot.

But the actress revealed that recent hypnosis therapy has taught her to suspend those superstitions, and has proven effective.

“I have not been doing the right hand, the right foot, and now it is surprisingly good!” She said.

Jonathan Alpert, a psychotherapist and author -based in Manhattan, commented on the use of hypnosis to relieve travel apprehension, mentioning that he has worked with patients who have also fought with fear of flying.

“Although I don’t use hypnosis, I know some therapists who have succeeded,” he shared with Fox News Digital.

“It is important to keep in mind that it is not a magical bullet as some people might think.”
