Ukraine Says Russia Has Resumed Air Attacks After Easter Truce

Kyiv:

Russia has resumed the air attacks against the east and south of Ukraine, Ukrainian regional officials said Monday, after Moscow and kyiv mutually accused of raping a Easter truce.

“The Russian army has launched drones in the region,” said Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Sergiy Lysak, in Telegram.

He said a house was damaged and a fire broke out in a food establishment, but they had not reported injured.

Vitaliy Kim, governor of the southern region of Mykolaiv in Ukraine, said Russian air attacks had also resumed there.

“On the morning of April 21, around 4:57 am, the enemy attacked the city with missiles, the guy is determining. There were no low or damage,” he wrote.

The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, accused Russia on Sunday to carry out more than 2,000 rapes of the Easter truce, but said there had been no alerts of air attacks in Ukraine and suggested extending a pause in air strikes.

Today there have been “air attack alerts,” he said, proposing “to stop strikes with long -range drones and missiles about civil infrastructure for a period of at least 30 days.”
