OnePlus Nord Buds 3 was launched in India on September 17, almost two months after OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro Launch. The newly launched wireless stereo headphones (TWS) are delivered with dynamic 12.4 mm titanium pilots, up to 32 dB of active noise cancellation (ANC) and offer a total lifespan of the battery up to 43 hours. The vanilla option seems to be similar to the pro variant in terms of design. They share a few specifications, but the northern buds 3 cheaper come without some of the advantages that the North Buds 3 Pro offers. Do these differences affect the overall performance of the basic version? Is there a discernible difference in the user experience that these two headphones provide? We will discover it in this review.
OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Design and Characteristics: Familiar territory
- Size – 29.99 x 20.30 x 23.87 mm (buds); 66.60 x 51.24 x 24.83 mm (case)

The design of the newly launched OnePlus Nord Buds 3 is similar to that of the Nord Buds 3 Pro Design. Like the pro variant, these TWS headphones wear a traditional intra-ear in-ear design with silicone ear tips. The advice is available in small, medium and large options, and the average size offered me the best fit.
The tactile control zone up of the stem is delimited with a decrease
The headphones are comfortable to use for an extended period. The lower stems of headphones allow users to adjust the adjustment more easily. There is a lot of chance of accidentally triggering a touch control control because the sensors are placed towards the upper and narrowest of the stem and are marked by notable bumps.
Meanwhile, the case of magnetic load in the form of rollers of the buds 3 OnePlus Nord 3 has a USB type-C port and a matching button at the bottom. A flashing LED light at the front of the case indicates the status of the device. The load connectors in the case are placed downwards. The case, even with headphones, is light and easy to transport. The headphones have an IP55 note for resistance to dust and splashes, while the case has no such certifications. They are available in Harmonic and white melodic gray -colored options.
ONEPLUS NORD BUDS 3 APPLICATION AND Specifications: ESSENTIALS without ambiguity
- Driver – 12.4 mm
- Companion Application – Hey Melody App
- Gesture checks – Yes
The Hey Melody application allows users to monitor the level of the battery of the charging box as well as the individual headphones. It also helps to manage the different modes of collaboration of noise, namely on, excluding and transparency. You can use the application to control the touch functions and customize the EQ settings. The dedicated game mode is claimed to ensure a gentle game and an audiovisual reading with a low latency. Double device connectivity allows headphones to connect to two devices at a time.
Equalization parameters can be easily personalized via the Hey Melody application
OnePlus Nord Buds 3 has dynamic 12.4 mm dynamic pilots and a double microphone system. They offer up to 32 DB of ANC and a total battery life of up to 43 hours. Each individual earphone obtains a 58 mAh battery, while the load box carries a 440mAh cell. The case is equipped with a Type-C USB load port. They support Google Fast Pair, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and the SBC and AAC audio codecs. Only the headphones are delivered with an IP55 note for dust and splash resistance.
OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Performances and Battery Autonomy: Too much bass?
- ANC – 32 DB
- Battery – 58MAH (bud), 440mAh (case)
- Fast load – Yes
- Bluetooth – V5.4
Is there too much bass? This is the very first question that comes to mind in the first minutes of using the Nord 3 buds 3. But it is not so much the existence of Bass Boost as the absence of a balanced adjustment. By making them pass with my ordinary headphones during the revision period, I was not happy when some of my favorite tracks appeared muddy. The absence of details, especially with higher frequency sounds, is more lively.
However, the customizable EQ parameters on the Hey Melody application are a saving grace in a way. For an occasional listener like me, play with the six -band equalizer led me to a place where I could play most songs on my reading list in a bearable manner. The preset of Serenade on the application puts the song a little, but this mainly removes part of the punch away from the bass. And even if I’m not crazy about sound quality, I don’t complain about bass in absolution. The bass is good. This brings us out of bed or sometimes helps us to reign in procrastination. It would have been better to have a balanced sound as well.
The headphones, next to the load box, are light and easy to transport
Passing to the anc. Let’s call the pussy a cat; He doesn’t do much. He will suffocate certain interior disturbances for you, but it is far from the cancellation of anything. The mode of transparency allows more noise than the ANC mode, of course, but there is not much left either. I was inclined to extinguish the functional of the ANC rather than using the mode of transparency.
The performance of the micro of the northern OnePlus buds is decent, considering. Can you enjoy a robust telephone conversation with these headphones in the middle of a lively street? No. Should you expect one or the other? Also not. The voice, if it is slightly deformed, is audible. I am not a big caller, so I cannot say that it has changed my experience a lot.
My reproaches with the Nord Buds 3 OnePlus ends here. The headphones support double peripheral connectivity alongside Google Fast Pair. This does not only mean that TWS portable clothes can be connected to two devices simultaneously, but these headphones allow us to switch to transparent. These budgetary offers are delivered with the SBC and AAC support alongside Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. The absence of support for the loss -free audio codec is justifiable, given the price.
Similar to the pro variant, these headphones have a wider stem bottom
The coronation element of the Nord 3 buds is the battery life. The company claims large figures, and in most conditions, they are close. Without ANC, the total reading time that these headphones have offered me is around 42 hours, while the headphones can last more than 11 hours in a single load. Once the old on, the battery life decreases considerably. I had a total reading time of just over 26 hours and about six hours on the headphones. I did not exceed the volume of 50% during the battery test period.
OnePlus Nord Buds 3: Verdict
It turns out that there can be too many bass, especially if the overall setting is unbalanced. Admittedly, there is a lack of details in the sound experience that the ONEPLUS NORD BUDS 3 offers, and the noise cancellation performance is inadequate. However, this may not dissuade interested customers, especially those of a strict budget.
At Rs. 2,299, these TWS headphones offer impeccable autonomy. In addition, for occasional auditors who use headphones for an extended period to a section, the comfortable adjustment of the Nord Buds 3 is a good incentive. Especially since most low -budget TWS headphones are known for waving the ears with prolonged use. Sweet double connectivity adds to the list of reasons you can opt for this.
With restricted funds, none of us expect a sound experience in the studio. After all, half a-pasture is better than nothing. If you have losing doughHowever, you can opt for the Nord Buds 3 Pro (review), which sells to Rs. 3,299 in India. To an additional RS. 1,000, you will get a much better sound and noise cancellation.
