Noise is one of the rare brands that has been quite active in the affordable TWS segment. The company has launched new audio products in this segment, the last of which is Buds N1 Pro Buds. The latest TWs of the company are responsible for interesting features associated with an affordable price of RS 1,799. The affordable TWS offers 11 mm pilots, Noise Instharge technology, quad-micro support, the lifespan of the durable battery, etc. However, is it enough to make a lasting impression? Let’s discover in this in -depth review.
Boun Buds N1 Pro Design and Characteristics: Compact and Light
- Size – 43 x 56 x 28 mm (housing)
- Weight – 39g (total with cases)
- Resistance to water and dust – IPX5 (buds only)
- Colors – Chrome green, chromed purple, chrome beige and chrome black
It is sure to say that noise is one of the rare brands of this segment which is trying to provide color options and unique conceptions with its TWS offer. The same can be said for noise n1 pro. The device is available in different chrome finishes, including green, purple, beige and black. My favorites are green and purple, which offer a look and a feeling of superior quality.
N1 Pro noise is available in green, beige, purple and black options.
The charge case seems compact and has a metal finish, which certainly gives a good overview. Although it is built in plastic, the quality seems decent, given the price. The compact size and rounded corners of the case facilitate sliding in the pockets. There is a small LED indicator that shows the TWS load level. Although the design seems compact compared to the Redmi 5C buds, the noise Tws seems a little disappointing.
The headphones are delivered with a corner -shaped upper with indicator lights at the top. The stem has a brilliant and matt finish, which seems reasonable. In addition, these are light enough and compact to adapt comfortably in the ear, and you can wear them for prolonged periods. The silicon tip also offers decent passive noise cancellation. Interestingly, the headphones are also delivered with an IPX5 note, which makes them sweat and resistant to dust, a rare characteristic of this price segment.
N1 Pro noise noise specifications: fairly standard
- Driver – 11 mm
- Application Companion – N / A
- Gesture checks – Yes (Tap and Balayage)
Unfortunately, no companion application support with noise N1 Po is a real disappointment. This limits all the experience because you do not get the possibility of personalizing sound profiles, touch controls, etc., which is only possible with a companion application. In this regard, the Xiaomi Buds 5C seems to be a much better option because it offers a companion application and many personalization options.
The N1 Pro noise buds have an ANC up to 32 dB.
Regarding specifications, N1 Pro noise offers interesting features. The headphones are delivered with an 11 mm pilot as well as active noise cancellation up to 32 dB. It also supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Quad microphones with ENC (cancellation of environmental noise).
Noise noise performance N1 Pro, battery life: Bass Heavy Sound, Battery good life
- ANC – 32 DB
- Load – Wired (USB Type -C)
- Bluetooth – 5.3
The Noise Buds N1 Pro offers decent performance at this price. The headphones are delivered with an active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 32 dB, which is decent in interior conditions and can delete noise from the fan or air conditioning or someone who speaks in the background. However, it is not suitable for a loaded environment, and you may have to reduce the volume to compensate for the bottom noises.
The wireless headphones are delivered with a heavy sound signature of the bass.
You can activate or deactivate the ANC mode with a simple tap and hold on the right earboard. Other touch controls are also simple. A sliding up or down on the right earpiece can increase the volume, while the same on the left can reduce it. You can also double on each earpiece to play or suspend the music. Finally, press and hold it on the left earpiece to activate the low latency mode.
Regarding the low latency mode, the headphones do a decent job with a response time of 40 ms. This allows you to watch movies or play games like BGMI or COD Mobile without much audio lag.
Coming to performance, Buds N1 Pro noise offers a heavy sound signature of bass. So, if you are someone who loves bass, you will surely like headphones. While listening to Bass Rani by Nuclya, the bass was impactful, while the vocal separation was decent. However, the bass masters the summits and the mediums. This is obvious while listening to Hotel California because the bass has mastered the mediums and the voices. In addition, there are cases of bleeding and distortion while you listen to at full volume. Thus, the use of around 60 to 70% is advisable to obtain the best sound exit.
The headphones are also delivered with a decent battery life. The company claims that you can get up to 60 hours of backup with the case. During the test period, I comfortably obtained around 40 hours of reading with the case, while the headphones lasted almost 5 to 6 hours on average. The headphones are loaded from 0 to 100% in almost less than 2 hours.
N1 Pro Buds noise offers an impressive battery with a quick load support.
However, what I didn’t like in headphones is connectivity. It is seriously difficult to combine the device with your smartphone or laptop. You have to press and maintain the right earboard while you want to start the couple. However, the entire process was incoherent and there were cases where the buds failed to connect to the device.
Coming to the quality of the call, noise N1 Pro has offered a decent experience. The Quad-MIC ENC works decently under interior conditions, and the receiver can clearly hear the voice. However, when you are in a busy environment, the microphone does a job average to cancel external noises.
BROISE BUDS N1 PRO VERDICT
To conclude, the N1 Pro noise offers a decent mixture of performance and design. The TWS brings a metallic finish which brings it out of the crowd. Performance will surely attract those who like to listen to the thumpy bass. The battery life is also decent. That said, it certainly comes with a good part of success and failures. The bass goes beyond the ups and midwives, while the problem of connectivity and the lack of a companion application spoil all the experience. We also have rigid competition at this price range, including the Redmi Buds 5C (Revue), Honor Choice Earbuds X5 (Review), and more.
