Infineon Mess LBS system
Infineon Technologies AG, a world leader of semiconductors in energy and IoT systems, and Marelli, a manufacturer of leading automotive systems in the world, are being associated to advance automotive visualization technology with an innovative MEMS Laser Maker scan system (LBS). Based on Infineon’s LBS technology, this solution allows Marelli to create immersive cabin experiences free of the limitations of traditional screens. This avant -garde technology will be exhibited in the Marelli stand during Auto Shanghai 25.
“The demand for the automotive industry of innovative optical solutions in cabin designs is accelerating, and Infineon undertakes to deliver these solutions to our customers faster than ever,” said Dr. Thomas Schafbauer, head of sensors and RF Business Unit in Infineon. “With our approach at a faster moment for the market, we are helping our customers stay at the forefront and capitalize on the growing demand for next -generation exhibition technologies.”
“We are delighted to collaborate with Infineon in Mem LBS, which represents a significant leap in automotive visualization technology,” said Joachim Fetzer, director of Technology and Innovation at Marelli. “This innovative solution offers significant freedom and efficiency, which allows us to create unique and attractive cabin experiences for our clients with an innovation approach to faster innovation customers.”
The Infineon Mess LBS system is fully compatible with the car. It is shock and robust vibration, and complies with Asil-B. Its compact chip scale packages guarantees versatility and allows flexible design possibilities for easy integration into several applications. In addition, the high efficiency of the system provides a brilliant and clear screen even in conditions of high environmental light and reduces energy consumption and heat generation, which makes it highly adequate for demanding automotive environments. A great field depth also offers a projection without approach, which simplifies the optical design. These characteristics allow OEM to differentiate the designs from their cabins while maintaining rich information screens. The Infineon Mess LBS system will be exhibited at the Marelli stand (Hall 1.2H, Booth 1bf009) during Shanghai 25.
