Nothing has been generously launched smartphones in various price segments in recent months. We saw the first smartphone of the company’s submarque, the CMF 1 phone, taking the budget segment. And now the company has introduced an update version of the NOLTHING 2A phone by adding a little more in terms of camera, performance and battery. Thus, the Nothing 2a Plus telephone is here and is at the price of RS 27 999 for the RAM 8 GB variant and 256 GB, while the RAM 12 GB and 256 GB model is delivered with an RS 2999 price. So, is it logical to opt for the model more or to stick to the original 2A phone? Let’s discover in this review.

The Nothing 2A Plus phone is essentially the 2A phone with a new color option. Visually, you can make no distinction because there is none. This means that you get the same transparent look with the same interface of glyphs at the upper half of the rear panel, as well as a horizontal camera module placed in the center of the phone inside the NFC coil.

The Nothing 2A Plus phone is also loaded with a fingerprint sensor in the game, which is quite reliable and fast. The handset is also delivered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, although it only offers an IP54 note. This means that the device can get away with minor spills.

That said, the user interface is certainly the most unique functionality of the device. First of all, there is no Bloatware, which is strongly personalized to bring it out of the competition. The police of the Nothing signature point matrix and the overall design style give him a coherent look. You also get the option to choose the nothing theme or the normal theme.
The glyph interface offers a good level of personalization. You can use it for messages, calls, application notifications, battery load status, etc. In addition, with AI wallpaper, you can generate personalized wallpapers. Apart from that, the operating system also comes with an “ experimental functionality ”, which allows you to easily associate the device with the device.

In terms of daily use, the phone is quite smooth. Whether it’s jumping or playing games, phone performance is smooth and powerful. By playing Call of Duty: Mobile on a very high quality and a maximum image frequency, I did not notice any fall of the frame. Thermal management is also excellent on this device and you will not feel it too hot even with 45 minutes of intense play.
Nothing of 2A Plus phone cameras: need for optimizations

Noting 2A Plus telephone light performance is good, because it captures sharp and dynamic photos. The contrast and the dynamic range are also decent. You can also choose two different modes: standard and lively. The latter uses AI to improve colors, which seem more worthy of Instagram.

The ultraid sensor, on the other hand, is disappointing. The color release is decent, but the details are slightly missing in the shots of the day. The portrait mode works well with the detection of the edges, and the colors of the complexion seem natural.

Under low light conditions, the Nothing 2A Plus telephone does a decent job. The noises are reduced in lively mode. The shadows are well developed and the reflections are also there. The colors also became natural during the test period. However, with Ultrairs, we saw colors a little washed and the noises were quite significant.
The performance of selfies has improved this time. You get a solid outlet in daylight. Skin tones and texture look at the source, and there are a lot of details. However, under low light conditions, the question of focusing persists, but you can always get a good amount of details.
Video quality is also good. The phone is now capable of 4K @ 30fps from the selfie camera, which is also a good thing.
Nothing of the 2A Plus phone battery: impressive autonomy

The Nothing 2a Plus phone is responsible for a 5,000 mAh similar battery backup. However, the company offers a slightly better 50W fast charging support with the latest device as opposed to the 45W load support found in the 2A phone.

The release of the battery life is also similar. During the test period, the phone delivered almost two days of battery life with normal to moderate use. Under high use, the phone lasted a full day without too much problem. The phone lasted 10 p.m. and 38 minutes in our battery loop test. The company gave no charger in the box, which is a disappointment. I used a 68W fast charger to check the phone’s load capacities. During the tests, the phone was billed 30% in 15 minutes, 63% in 30 minutes, and it took almost 55 minutes to bill completely.
Nothing phone 2a more verdict
The Nothing 2A Plus phone seems to be an interesting option for this price segment. The handset always brings a unique design language, which you do not see in other brands. Compared to the telephone number 2A, you get improvements of around 10% of performance, load speeds and front camera. But you must also pay additional dollars.
The smartphone will face rigid competition from OnePlus, Honor and other phones.
So, if you do not want to spend as much on the most, you can go with the 2A phone, which is not a bad deal at a start price of RS 23 999. However, if you are looking for slightly better performance, improved cameras and slightly better faster speeds, you can consider the 2A Plus phone.
