The royal couple shared this photo taken on the island of Mull on social networks to mark their wedding anniversary.

The Prince and Princess of Wales published a new photograph to mark their 14th wedding anniversary during an official visit to the island of Mull in Scotland.

The photo shows the couple with each other while taking the landscape of the spectacular island. The image, published on the Royal Social Media account of the couple, is also delivered with a personal message.

“Wonderful to be back on the island of Mull,” he said. “Thank you all for such a warm welcome.”

They register with an emoji of heart of love and “W&C” for William and Catherine.

William and Catherine will visit the island for two days, visiting the community rooms that their royal foundation contributes to renovating.

The couple, Who got married at Westminster Abbey On April 29, 2011, stayed in an independent chalet on Mull after official commitments.

The Duke and the Duchess of Rothesay, as they are officially known when they are in Scotland, met during his studies at the University of St Andrews.

This is the first time that Catherine has been overnight during an official commitment since her treatment against cancer.

The couple was welcomed by more than 200 local tourists and residents who had aligned the main street of Tubermory, where BBC Balamory Popular Children’s TV series was filmed.

The princess has not traveled too far from his home in Windsor, so coming to Mull and Iona and spending time here is important.

Those who work with the couple told us that they wanted to visit Mull for a long time.

It is not difficult to see why – its natural beauty is exposed everywhere.

In recent months, the princess, in particular, has explained how the connection with nature has given her forces.

She will have the chance to do it here for several commitments – to visit a local croft in participation in outdoor learning with schoolchildren in an old wood.

On Wednesday, the couple will continue their commitments on Mull by emphasizing the conservation of their biodiversity and their natural beauty.

Tuesday was exactly 14 years since the couple got married at Westminster Abbey with thousands of people bordering the street for their wedding procession to the Buckingham Palace.

The celebrations are a little smaller today.

The prince and the princess will spend their wedding anniversary evening in an independent vacation chalet on Mull – a decision that is told that they have taken to support the tourism industry on the Scottish Islands.

Mull, on the west coast of Scotland, is part of land formerly led by the Lord of the Islands – one of the many Scottish titles that William inherited from his father When Charles became king.

The visit began with a visit by Aros Hall, which houses a community refrigerator that saves food from the discharge, a charity store and an interior playground for children.

Maggie Buchanan, member of the Aros Hall committee, wished William a happy birthday and when she told him “it’s good that you spent it on Mull”, he replied: “Yes, nice.”

Handling a nails pistol, the future king and queen helped build a kitchen cabinet to house a community refrigerator for given dishes and helped paint delicate flowers on a wall wall for children in the corridor.

While the princess helped, she told surprise staff that she had received a chainsaw for Christmas, she was therefore happy to find herself in the renovation.

The Sorley Carmichael island, 16, made the impromptu decision to play his bagpipe outside Aros Hall to welcome royal visitors.

“I was a little nervous but I used to play in front of big crowds. It was a very good opportunity,” he said.

“I was not asked to play but I just thought I would come to let them see a Scottish culture.”

The couple then went longer than expected along the rue Main, stopping to speak to the awaiting crowd.

They understood Jim Thornton, of West Yorkshire, who spoke to the princess of their common experience of cancer treatment.

“My opening words in the conversation were from a cancer survivor to another, well done,” he said, “she shook my hand … It was so incredible.”

Acclaimed crowds praised the prince

The prince and the princess remembered their visit to the island when they were students of St Andrews University, telling volunteers and members of the room committee how they visited Tobertmorme almost 25 years ago.

The couple had been friends before embarking on a romance.

William said: “It was in 2003 when we were here. We had a good time here – it’s wonderful.”

He said that during their visit to Scotland, they “tried to discover what challenges there was, what we can do to help”.

The royal couple then visited the neighboring port to discuss with the manufacturers and creators of the Tobertorny producers market, trying local products, including cheese and algae chutney.

This was followed by a visit to a croft and a restaurant combined on the west coast of Mull, where they learned sustainable agriculture.

The couple visited some of the 50 acres of crofits field, saw the Hebrideens sheep cultivated on site and helped select garden products for the menu.

They also helped prepare a “community party”, cooking outside with the owner of Croft, Jeanette Lynn and her husband Jack Shaw. The princess learned to cook charred haggis dumplings with whiskey.

The children of Ulva primary school then joined the royal couple for the party.

William and Catherine will spend time in private at the Pennyghael Community Hall and on the island of Iona after taking the public ferry from Mull and encountered those who use and direct the service.

The visit aims to underline the importance of communities and to protect and defend the natural environment.

The Royal Foundation Community Impact Program offers unknown subsidies for the renovation of facilities in Aros Hall.

The common areas will also be updated and the roof repairs undertaken at the Pennyghael Community Hall.

Interior designer Banjo Beale, BBC presenter Design the Hebrides The program and a resident Mull will work with the islanders to ensure centers belonging to the community in Tubermory and the village of Pennyghael reflects the culture of the region.

He said: “It is an absolute joy to work with the royal foundation of the prince and the princess of Wales to rethink and preserve these vital community spaces.

“Together, we are not only remained of the old walls – we reinventing what is possible when the community and creativity come together. I am delighted to breathe a new life in beloved buildings and to celebrate the heat of the island, resilience and silent magic.”
