Onepus Buds Pro 3 wireless stereo headphones have been launched in India. These audio laptops, at the price of Rs. 11,999, sport Dual Drivers which include 11 mm Woofers and 6 mm tweeters. They support up to 50 db of active noise cancellation (ANC), the LHDC 5.0 audio codec and double -device connectivity. The headphones are delivered with an IP55 note and they support the tactile control function of slide. The headphones are supposed to have a total battery life of up to 43 hours. All these features seem good on paper but do they keep in terms of performance? Let’s explore this in the review below.
ONEPLUS PRO 3: compact and classic design and features
- Size – 33.60 x 21.15 x 25.00 mm (buds); 64.70 x 52.45 x 25.75 mm (case)
- Weight – 5.28 g (each bud); 61.13g (total with cases)
- Resistance to water and dust – IP55 (buds only)
- Colors – Lunar radiation, midnight opus
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 has a comfortable intra-ear design with silicone tips. Instead of the three usual silicone cutting -edge usual options, we get an additional choice. They come in the sizes XS, S, M and L and the ready -to -use average option suits me best. The headphones, with a rounded stem, have a double tone finish. Since the headphones allow the slide function, the specific area of the rod which reads the slide control is placed forward (when the headphones are connected). It is marked by a column of tiny horizontal lines which help users to easily identify the place without too much escaped.
The ONEPLUS BUDS PRO 3 offer a comfortable adjustment, suitable for long -term use
Offered in two basic lunar radiation shades (white) and midnight opus (black), the ONEPLUS BUBS PRO 3 headphones are available in a compact box in the shape of pebbles and easy to transport. There is nothing flashy or exaggerated in this product and it shines with the elegance of its simplicity, whether in terms of equipment or performance. The charging box is delivered with a monocoque plastic construction that has a leather texture. It may seem to have a vegetable leather finish, but this is not the case.
The case has no IP rating but the headphones are delivered with and the IP55 listed version. An individual earphone measures 33.60 x 21.15 x 25.00 mm and weighs 5.28 grams. The case measures 64.70 x 52.45 x 25.75 mm and with headphones, weighs 61.38 grams. Although it is heavier than some other audio laptops in the range, the weight is not considerable and certainly does not hinder functionality.
Application OnePlus Buds Pro 3 and specifications: Excellent elementary
- Driver – 11 mm + 6 mm
- Companion Application – Hey Melody
- Gesture checks – Yes (compression, sliding)
Like the product itself, the layout of the Companion Hey Melody application is simple and easy to use. It allows users to access the management of cancellation and noise equalization parameters. With supported audio formats, you can also access the space audio function of this application. He also has the Golden Sound function, which, with the help of a series of hearing and hearing tests, offers users a personalized sound experience.
The Hey Melody app has a simple and easy -to -follow arrangement
You can personalize touch controls on the headphones using the Hey Melody app. Instead of the TAP function, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 supports compression and slide functions. The different commands include rapid pressure, double pressure, triple compression and pressure and maintain. There is also a slide command, which is by default to control the volume by sliding a finger up or down the rod. You can also customize the Slide command to reflect the “Switch Track” action or completely deactivate the functionality.
In terms of features, the ONEPLUS Buds Pro 3 obtain the right bases. Similar to the previous OnePlus Buds Pro 2 (review), the newly launched TWS headphones are delivered with 11 mm woofers and 6 mm tweeters. However, instead of a DAC with two pilots as in the old model, the Pro 3 Buds obtain two DACs. Why is this improvement remarkable? DAC means digital analogical converter, which helps convert digital audio information into real audio signals that we hear. This is an integral part of the final quality of the sound that we live and the change has made a difference. We will discuss under the solid performance of headphones.
The ONEPLUS BUDS PRO 3 support up to 50 DB ANC, 94 ms of low latency and are supposed to offer a battery life of up to 43 hours. The load box has a 566mAh battery, while the individual headphones bear 58mAh cells. Only the headphones are delivered with an IP55 note for dust and splash resistance. The headphones support Bluetooth 5.4, the double device connection, the Google quick torque and the USB type-C port connectivity.
TWS headphones are delivered with four silicone ear tip sizes
OnePlus Buds Pro 3 Performance and battery life: Dulcet and detailed
- ANC – 50DB
- Battery – 58MAH (bud), 566MAH (case)
- Load – Wired (USB Type -C) and wireless (Qi technology)
- Bluetooth – 5.4
In addition to the ON, OFF and transparent modes, the ONEPLUS BUBS PRO 3 also allow users to choose between soft, moderate and max. With the ANC, the different modes are intended to deal with various degrees of disturbances. In addition, there is a mode to adjust them all, the intelligent mode, which helps to assess the environmental noise level and automatically define the adequate noise cancellation level. Otherwise, you can of course switch between the modes using the Hey Melody Companion application. However, I have not undergone any marked difference between the different modes. But the cancellation of the noise was decent. In addition to some low frequency sounds, the headphones have managed to hide most of the environmental disturbances adequately.
The solid experience offered by the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 headphones is a harmonic mixture of balanced and detailed. You can access a customizable equalizer in six bands via the Hey Melody app. Most of the time, the audio output you get is well balanced and Dulcet. You get five EQ presets supported by Dynaudio – balanced, daring, serenade, bass and Dynaudio feathered. The last one is promised to reproduce the sound of Dynaudio speakers with perfectly balanced bass, mediums and treble. I do not know if the preset does it completely, but it is nevertheless pleasant.
The monohull plastic load case has a textured leather finish
The daring mode highlights the more crisp and higher notes and offers a melodious concord with a track like House of the Rising Sun by animals. With Serenade mode, which focuses on the voices, we can feel moving and almost raw emotions in songs like Francis Forever by Mitski or Lost on You (Live) by LP. The low earphones are also good, with clear and defined sounds and no edges or hard distortions. Most songs from Light EM Up by Fall Out Boys to Freedom by John Batiste are delighted to listen in low mode. If you are a fan of stereo mixtures, you might be dizzy for joy to see how some details are pronounced with these headphones. For example, the distinct traps of dear prudence by the Beatles seemed to be pleasantly unraveling a certain itch that I did not know that I had.
In addition to AAC and SBC, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 supports the LHDC 5.0 lossless audio codec. If used with a handset supported by the LHDC, the latter considerably improves sound quality and also affects the battery life. The headphones’ connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, a double device connection and they support Google Fast Pairling. You can switch transparently between the two apparatus paired without major gap. The low latency game mode of 94 ms ensures a minimum lag between audio and video output. They also support a clear experience of vocal call.
The life of the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 battery is also impressive. Without ANC, by playing the AAC Codec with loss, I obtained a total reading time of almost 42 hours of the headphones. With the functionality of the old on, the total reading time fell to around 24 hours, which I was more than satisfied with, given my use no doubt more than the average. With the LHDC codec without loss and the Smart Anc mode, with the case, these headphones gave me a little execution of just over 20 hours, 20 hours and 18 minutes to be precise. For the purposes of this review, I maintained a uniform volume of 50% throughout the test period.
Load load connectors are placed on the bottom of the stem
The ONEPLUS BUBS PRO 3 load case supports the USB Type-C load as well as the wireless load. Using a 15W Qi wireless charger, it took me three hours to invoice the 100%zero file. Meanwhile, using a 67W wired charger, they were billed on completion in an hour.
OnePlus Buds Pro 3: Verdict
We finally come to the big question. Should you get the OnePlus Buds Pro 3? Competitively price at Rs. 11,999, these headphones supported by the ANC offer first -rate sound experience. The design is compact and elegant in its simplicity. They can offer an impressive total lifespan of almost 43 hours if you keep the ANC outside and use the AAC codec. Even during the execution of LHDC with ANC, with the case, they can last more than 20 hours, which is a good execution time for most occasional listeners. If the art of deduction must be reliable, these audio products have no substantial warning. So yes, they are a good choice for buyers looking for TWS headphones around Rs. 12,000.
However, if you want to explore more options before committing, you can consider the Sennheiser Accentum True Wireless (Review) headphones, which support audio codecs Aptx and LC3 and are at the price of India at Rs. 12 990.
