Advance Auto Parts is now drawing an expansion.
The automotive supplier of accessory market pieces said Wednesday that he was “entering his next phase back to growth” with plans to launch 30 new stores in the United States this year.
In the long term until 2027, Advance Auto Parts seeks to add 100 more locations, including the largest market “market stores, according to the company.

“Advance Auto Parts is on the road to accelerate store growth and focus on the foundations of the sale of car pieces,” said CEO Shane O’Kelly in a statement. “We are excited about what will come to advance.”

The expansion, said Advance Auto Parts, comes after “successfully completed the closing phase of the store of its transformation plan.”
The company had said in November that it would close more than 700 locations, more than 500 of which were corporate stores, and would close four distribution centers. This movement arose from a three -year “strategic plan” that aims to “improve business performance” for advanced auto parts.
Advancing car pieces closing hundreds of locations after slow performance
The measures in the company’s strategic plan include the “standardization of the store’s operating model” and “strategic supply to improve the first costs and bring pieces to the market faster”, among others, among others.

Advance Auto Parts said on Wednesday that more than 75% of its locations are now “in the markets where the company has position No. 1 or No. 2 based on the density of the store, strengthening its presence in strategic communities.”
It will debut new stores in Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin in the next “several” months, the company said. Six new Advance Auto Parts stores have been released in Florida, New Jersey, Tennessee and Virginia since the beginning of 2025.

As part of the expansion, the new “market centers” are scheduled to reach the west “soon”, according to Advance Auto Parts. Kelly previously said during the company’s fourth -quarter profit call in February that the company wants to have 60 new market centers “in the middle of 2027.
Its “market centers” are significantly larger in size than their normal stores. “They increase the availability of parts by placing approximately 75,000 to 85,000 SKU closer to customers and other local early stores, as well as improve Advance service speed with the delivery of the same day of pieces,” said the company.

Advance Auto Parts sells several pieces of vehicles, batteries, accessories, chemicals and motor maintenance items.

In the course of 2024, the company generated $ 9.09 billion in net sales. Meanwhile, sales of comparable stores recorded a 0.7% decrease that CFO Ryan Grimsland said it was “driven by deceleration in the second half of the year and attributed to the general softness in the consumer spending environment, including postponement and spending for maintenance elements as seen in the industry in 2024.”
His annual net loss by 2024 was $ 335.79 million.
