The laptop weighs less than 2 kg, which makes it portable enough to take around your backpack. It is equipped with the last CPU Intel Core and a discreet Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU which is powerful enough to perform most games.

Downward speakers lack bass

Coming to performance, the V16 game unit that we obtained for examination was equipped with the Intel Core 5 210h processor. There is also a variant with the Intel Core 7 240h chipset. However, RAM and storage are capped at 16 GB of DDR5 and 512 GB PCIe 4.0. They are both expandable, however and although 16 GB of RAM is good enough to perform most tasks, it is better to upgrade storage because 512 GB will be exhausted in no time if you like to install and play a lot of games.
GPU GeForce RTX 4050 has a maximum TDP of 70W
The laptop works well without too much offset when used regularly. However, I noticed a little hiccups when performing reference tools. Speaking of benchmarks, I have run a few and below are the results.

Asus Gaming V16 has worked fairly well in references, especially with regard to GPU scores. The GPU GeForce RTX 4050 on the laptop is surmounted by 70W TDP, which is not the most power, which shows in demanding games. I played the New Indiana Jones and the large laptop circle, and even with activated DLSS and graphics paid on low / medium, the game only delivered 30 to 40 IPS. However, less demanding titles such as Forza Horizon 4 have better performed on the laptop, offering more than 70 IPS.
In terms of heat management, the laptop has done a decent job. The two fans helped to remove most of the heat from me, but the upper part of the keyboard was hot during the game player and the reference race.

Asus Gaming V16 is a good purchase for those who venture into the world of game, but not if you are a seasoned player. If you have a budget and don’t make a lot of games, it could be a good option. It has a portable design with a decent construction, a 16 -inch refresh refreshment screen, a good keyboard and excellent autonomy. And, for these short game sessions between study or work, you have the GPUROCE RTX 4050 GPU. At a starting price of RS. 82 990, Gaming V16 should certainly appear on your list of laptops of games at low budget.
