Asus Vivobook 14 Flip (2025) Design: Elegant and light
- Dimension – 312.6 x 221 x16.9 mm
- Weight – 1.5 kg
- Colors – matt gray
Asus VivoBook 14 Flip is easily one of the most high -end and compact laptops in this price segment. The laptop offers an elegant profile with only 16.9 mm slimming, although the weight is about 1.5 kg, which does not seem so heavy, to be honest. The laptop is available in a single matt gray color option, which seems premium, to be honest.
The Asus Vivobook 14 Flip comes with a 360 degree hinge which seems robust.
The laptop has an aluminum body coupled with American millet 810h certification, making it a reliable and durable machine. Speaking of the design aesthetics, the upper cover offers a matt finish with the Asus Vivobook logo, which looks elegant. The lid looks robust, although there is a slight flexion when you press the middle. Once you have opened the lid, you will find the Asus Ergosense keyboard with a large touchpad.
The laptop is also delivered with a robust 360 -degree hinge which offers resistance on the point. This even allows you to open the laptop with only one finger. The hinge does not feel too tight or loose for the whole movement at 360 degrees. It also means that you can use the laptop in four different modes: laptop mode, stand mode, tent mode and tablet mode.
The laptop can be used in four different modes: laptop mode, tent mode, stand mode and tablet mode.
These modes are quite fun to use. I generally use the stand mode to watch a quick episode and turn it over in laptop mode to start working. I also liked the fact that the windows move transparently in tablet mode once you move the hinge after 180 degrees. However, there is also a drawback to this hinge. Although it is secure, the problem of screen oscillation is there, which sometimes makes you uncomfortable using the touch screen when using the laptop.
As for ports, the laptop offers a decent amount of ports for daily use. You get a type A USB port on the right side. On the left, there are several ports, including an HDMI 2.1 port, a USB type-C Thunderbolt 4 port, a 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C USB port, a microSD card slot and a 3.5 mm audio socket. That said, the Asus VivoBook 14 Flip offers an elegant design language, which is a positive point in this price segment.

Coming to the screen, the Asus VivoBook 14 Flip contains a decent display in a compact factor. The device is loaded with ASUS bright OLED panel which offers good saturations and colors. The text seems clear and the dynamic range also seems good.

The Asus VivoBook 14 Flip comes with an HD + OLED 14 -inch HD + OLED screen.
The laptop is loaded with up to 500 nickes of peak brightness, which is good enough for the interior working environment. You also work in a coffee with such brightness if you make it heard completely. That said, the screen is a little reflective, which makes it difficult to use when the light source is directly behind you. On the other hand, the screen only delivered with a 60 Hz refreshment rate, which could be a little higher to offer a much better and seamless vision experience.

The complete HD camera is also decent for video calls, and the double microphone captures sound well. The audio output of this machine is decent.
