Beats Solo Buds – The last wireless stereo helmet (TWS) of the Apple subsidiary – was launched in India in August, two months after their introduction to the United States. This model offers a longer reading time on a single load compared to its more expensive brothers and sisters, but the charge case provides no lifespan of the additional battery. Solo Buds beats work with iOS and Android smartphones and has customizable buttons on each earpiece. I spent a few days with the TWS helmet, trying to know if it can stand out in a very competitive price segment.
The beats solo buds are at the price of Rs. 6,900 in India, and it is available in the options of arctic purple, matt black, storm gray and transparent red. The company sent the purple variant for this review.
Beats Solo Buds Design: looks good, feels comfortable

These are the most affordable TWS earphones made by beats, but they wear the brand’s design language of the brand. It closely resembles the Beats Studio Buds + more expensive model in terms of size and design, with a plastic body with a stem -free design. The company logo is in good place on each earpiece.
The solo helmet goats goats has a light purple plastic body with a matt finish, while the panel with the button of each earpiece is a slightly darker shade. Beats Solo Buds has customizable button commands
Like headphones, the transport case has a two -color design with a lighter shade inside. This is one of the smallest and lightest cases that I have held so far, and the lid stops with an audible click. Although the lid and headphones are both safely maintained by magnets, it is easy to open the case and remove them with one hand.
Although the TWS helmet fitting could be subjective, I found that the solo Beats head helmet was quite comfortable, thanks to the rounded design. The headphones are very light, but I was always aware of their presence in my ears, thanks to the intra-ear design.

The Companion application does not include equalizer or audio preset commands, so I had to rely on the equalizer options specific to the application on Apple Music and Spotify on Android and iOS to customize the audio output of the wireless helmet.
The application also includes a feature that allows you to see the location of your headphones on Android, while iOS users can use the search for my application for the same features. On the two platforms, you can see the last location when the headphones were used or connected to your phone.

The company claims that the Solo Buds TWS Beats helmet is equipped with a dynamic driver with two layers and a personalized acoustic design with vents that reduce atmospheric pressure while carrying the headphones. Apple did not include a series H or W series or W series on the device, so it does not support the transparent switching between Apple devices, or offers multipoint connectivity.
Despite the lack of equalizer orders on iOS and Android, I found that the solo Beats heads offer a fairly good sound scene, which means that it can manage the tracks through genres, including rock, pop, R&B and classical music. While listening to Diljit Dosanjh and Hass Hass of Sia, the duo’s voice was clear while the helmet delivered the right amount of bass – it is a little more retained than the other wireless helmets of the company.

There is no active noise cancellation on the solo buds of the beats, which means that I rose the volume by listening to music or podcasts on a trip. It is a little disappointing because competitors offer support for functionality at a lower price.
Beats Solo Buds has a Type-C USB port for the load
According to the company, the Solo Buds beats have a microphone on each earpiece that uses a personalized automatic learning algorithm to reduce environmental noise. During my tests, the people I spoke to regular telephone calls and Whatsapp and Google meet the calls they could clearly hear me, even when I was in a crowded and noisy area.
Solo Buds beats are supposed to deliver up to 18 hours of media reading in a single load. I had about 12 hours of autonomy, with a mixture of listening to music, call and play.
Although the headphones offer excellent autonomy, the transport box does not include battery – this means that you will have to connect a charger after placing the buds in the case when the battery is exhausted. You can load it via the Type-C port on the case with a USB-PD charger or even connect it to your phone or other devices.
Beats Solo Buds Review: Verdict
The Beats Solo Buds is a unique Tws helmet in this price segment, because it offers a balanced neutral sound signature and works very well with iOS and Android devices. It also offers the longest battery life on a single load and fast charge management.
However, the most affordable TWS model of the company also has some notable drawbacks. To begin with, the headphones offer up to 18 hours of battery life, but the compact charge case does not provide any additional power.
Beats Solo Buds is not shipped with a load cable in the box
Another notable drawback is the lack of support from the ANC on solo buds. These days, almost all TWS wireless helmets around the RS. 5,000 Mark offers a certain degree of active noise cancellation, preventing you from launching the volume too high outside and potentially damaging your ears.
If you have an iPhone or other Apple devices or if you just want a pair of Fooritures TWS which offer good sound quality, then the beating buds are worth considered if the lack of ANC is not a break. Other alternatives to consider in this price range are the Oppo Enca Air 3 Pro, Nothing ear (A) (exam) and OnePlus Buds 3 (Revue) – Most of the wireless headsets of this price range also offer decent and ANC audio quality for the price, as well as the support for multipoint connectivity.
