The season one of the Division one of the National Nationwide League of 2025 had an exciting start on Wednesday when Blessed Stars FC and FC One Rocket played a 1-1 draw in a first game fiercely played at the stadium of the municipality of Uyo.
The game, which began at 9:00 am, was up to its turnover as one of the most exciting accessories throughout the country one. Fans were treated with an animated encounter full of skill, intensity and almost failures.
The blessed stars impressed with their crispy game of passes and their coordinated team game, while FC One Rocket excited the followers with their direct approach and dazzling drip races.
Although both teams created several opportunities for scoring, the first half ended without goals, and none of the sides could find the advance.
The dead point finally broke in the middle of the second half when Emmanuel Gotau of the blessed stars crowned a team movement that flows with a well -taken end to put his side ahead.
FC One Rocket, however, responded quickly. Only five minutes later, Simon Reuben danced towards the box and shot Joseph David in the goal so that the blessed stars draw their side level.
With both coaches, Ubong Vincent de Blessed Stars and Itoro Xavier of FC One Rocket, urging his players to press for a winner, the game ended in a tense and frantic end. But none of the teams could find the decisive objective, and the points were shared.
The result leaves both teams with one point as the race begins for the only promotional playoff ticket at the UYO Center.
