STREET. Louis-Robert Thomas scored a goal of power in extra time and St. Louis Blues tied a franchise record with their eleventh consecutive victory, 5-4 about the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night.
Jake’s neighbors scored twice and Pavel Buchnevich and Jordan Kyrou also scored for blues. Joel Hofer made 24 rescues when St. Louis established a franchise record with his tenth consecutive house victory.
Bryan Rust, Rickard Rakell and Rutger McGroarty had a goal and an assistance and Connor Dewar also scored for the penguins. Tristan Jarry made 14 rescues when Pittsburgh lost his fourth consecutive road contest.
The second goal of the neighbors was created by Jimmy Snuggerud, who obtained his first career point in his second NHL game. Snuggerud, a first round of blues in the 2022 draft, was signed with an entry level contract on Friday.
McGroarty tied the game for the Penguins with 23.8 seconds with his first NHL goal.
Rust has five goals in his last seven games.
Penguins: Rust is a goal of his maximum of his career for a season (28) established last season and is one less point that coinciding with the maximum of his career for points in a season (58) established in 2021-22.
Blues: striker Dylan Holloway left the game with an injury at the bottom of the body did not return. Holloway has 26 goals and 37 assists in 77 games this season.
