Kuala Lumpur:

China and Malaysia emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability at the South China Sea in a joint statement issued Thursday at the end of a state visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping.

They also reaffirmed their commitment to improve cooperation under the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization and BRICs.

Countries said that Gaza is an inalienable part of the territory of Palestine, and urged a complete and effective implementation of the high fire agreement.

China and Malaysia signed 31 agreements, ranging from commerce and tourism to rail transport and agriculture, during XI’s visit.

XI left Malaysia on Thursday morning for Cambodia as part of a three -native Southeast Asian trip that includes Vietnam.
