Alogic, the Australian brand which manufactures a range of commercial and general public electronic products, brought its series of superior quality monitors in India in October from last year. The range included 4 models, with the most expensive variant offering resolution up to 5k with a touch support. Although few people may have heard of the brand, it is proud to make some of the monitors of the best value for the color that are both elegant and full of functionalities.

I recently was able to try the 4K Alogic Clarity 27 monitor, which is the basic variant of the range. The instructor is at the cost of RS. 59 990 And offers a high -end and elegant design that is closely like the Apple Studio display. The instructor is also claimed to obtain an HDR 600 note and a precise IPS panel. It has a highly adjustable support and an integrated USB hub, offering many connectivity options. However, is it worth the price requested? Discover.

Clarity Alogique 27 4K monitor design

I’m just going to say: The Alogic Clarity 27 4K is one of the best monitors I have ever used. He shouts the bonus from all angles, and although I would have liked the display boundaries to be a little thinner, it is always superb equipment. The instructor is also inspired by the Apple Studio display, and I don’t complain.

The aluminum support simply switches to the back of the screen, no screws required

The silver color, as well as the aluminum, ABS and Glass construction, gives it a premium sensation and also make it feel at home next to a Mac Mini, MacBook or Mac Studio. However, it will also be completely good when associated with a Windows machine.

The machined holes at the top and bottom of the rear panel clear the display vibrations of the Apple studio

At the rear, the monitor has a curved design with machined holes at the top and bottom, offering ventilation and improving aesthetics. The quality of construction is first -rate and I have not noticed any imperfection or panel gap. The monitor looks more chic from the back than the front, which is also all in glass and shiny.

The front of the monitor has a completely glass panel with slightly thick glasses

The front has thicker glasses than most of the other monitors I have tried, but it looks premium. There is no brand on the front. A small cut in the upper right corner of the front glass display houses a sensor for automatic brightness.

There is a light sensor for automatic brightness

The lower edge of the screen has five buttons for the power supply, the modification of the input, the volume control and the adjustment of other display functions.

You get 5 buttons on the lower side of the screen

One thing that I liked more than the design of the monitor is the aluminum medium included. With the stand, the monitor weighs approximately 7.6 kg. Aluminum support offers a ton of adjustment. I used a lot of monitors, but I have never seen so much adjustments.

The support is durable and maintains the stable monitor

The support is also of excellent quality, has a cut to pass the cables and is well designed. It provides adjustments for the pivot, the inclination, the pivot and the height. You can increase the height up to 150 mm and get 25 degrees of tilt. It is also super easy to fix the support for the monitor and requires no screws. The monitor also has a VESA support.

The stand offers tons of adjustment

Now, in terms of connectivity, as I mentioned earlier, the Alogic clarity instructor has an 8 -port center at the back. You get two USB Type-A, a USB type-B port, two HDMI 2.0 ports, a USB type-C port with 90W Power Passthrough, a DisplayPort 1.4 and one to the OUT. There is also a power input and the monitor is delivered with an 180W adapter.

The 8 -port center is one of the main sales arguments of this instructor

You also receive four cables in the box: an HDMI cable, a USB Type-C to C cable, a Type-A to B type B cable and a Displayport cable.

Clarity Alogique 27 4K monitor performance

The Clarity 27 monitor offers a high 4K resolution at a refresh rate of 60 Hz, offering a pixel density of 163 ppi. It has an improved IPS panel with a quantumly point LED layer, which produces rich and vibrant colors. I really liked to watch the contents on the screen, especially HDR movies and videos. The game is also pleasant, but I would recommend obtaining a higher refresh rate display if your main use case is the game. For a creative workflow that involved a video and photo touch -up, the screen worked very well.

The display is colored and bright

Alogic claims that the Clarity Monitor 27 covers 130% NTSC, 97% DCI-P3, 100% SRGB and 99% Gamut of Adobe RVB colors. The panel is pre-calibrated from the factory, but you can play with the colors if you want something different. All adjustments are made via the OSD keys placed under the screen. However, the interface is something on which the company could have worked.

The display is delivered with the management of HDR 600 content

The display also supports HDR 600 content, which means that you get deep blacks and shiny reflections. The brightness of Pic 400-Nit turned out to be more than sufficient during my exam. Vision angles (178 degrees) are excellent, although in brilliantly lit environments, reflections can become a problem. The shiny glass panel adds a premium touch to the overall design, but its reflective nature can be distracing under direct light.

During the review, I mainly used the monitor with my MacBook Air. Thanks to the USB Type-C port on the monitor which offers a power transfer and a 90 W data transfer, I only need one cable to load the laptop and use the monitor as an external display. I also have a PC, which I connected via the HDMI port, and it was super easy to switch between the two.

The alogical brand is only present on the back of the monitor

The monitor is also delivered with two 5W speakers, but there is no microphones or webcam. The speakers are quite decent enough to look at content, but are not very noisy or clear. I suggest connecting a sound bar or headphones for a better outing.

Overall, the Clarity 27 4K monitor of Alogic worked very well in terms of color outlet and HDR. What I liked most in the monitor is the ease of connection of the devices and the incredible stand.

Clarity Alogique 27 4K monitor verdict

HAS RS. 59 990The Alogic Clarity 27 4K monitor may not be suitable for everyone. You can get a 4K monitor with a much higher cooling rate for a lower price. However, if you are looking for a specific instructor that you want to use for video and photo modification on your Mac, this is an excellent choice. One of the remarkable characteristics is premium design and highly adjustable aluminum support. The display is also of good quality, and you also get the HDR 600 support. You also get an integrated center which offers many connectivity options, including the possibility of loading a connected laptop (via USB Type-C).

The Clarity 27 4K instructor is also an excellent alternative to Apple Studio display, offering similar features while including a better stand for half the price.
