The star of Port Adelaide, Ollie Wines, has been discarded in the part -time of the power clash with Sydney, due to a recurrence of heart problems.
Wines has dealt with a regularity of the heart for several years, and was taken from a match against Hawthorn last year, while he lost several games in 2022 when he was initially diagnosed.
Wines has described the medical problem as “not potentially deadly”, while Port Adelaide General Football Manager Chris Davies said the wines had had “a little flutter” during the second quarter, with the club taking all precautions.
“Look, Ollie had a little heart in that second quarter,” Davies told Seven.
“Now he is in the rooms, feeling much better, but it is something that he has had to drive for some time.
“He knows he has to get out of the game when these things happen.
“[It’s] Only in the sense that we are worried about Ollie’s health. At this time, as I say, he has returned to normal in the rooms and I am sure that he will go through what he needs this week and is available next week. “
