The standard Battle Royale mode remains the main event in Fortnite, but among all the new modes that Epic has added to its metaverse in the last two years, the recharge mode focused on reappearance is easily the most popular. And on Tuesday he joins his rotary list of backward maps with a new mini-island full of locations in chapter 2, such as Slurpy Swamp.
The new map will have eight locations with name, several of which seem to be lifted directly from chapter 2 Battle Royale Island, and some others inspired by it. Slurpy Swamp is in the center, which will make a rather large change of rhythm of the urban environments of the inclined towers and the palms of paradise, the central pieces of the other two recharge maps. Taking into account how expansive the swamp is on the map below, it seems that there will be a sip of heal everywhere.

Fortnite Reload is an OG -ish Battle Royale mode in which you will automatically reappear while your team is not cleaned, or, if you are playing alone, you have not used all your lives. The recharge takes place on islands much smaller than the standard battle royale, and has a limit of 40 players. Currently, the recharge revolves between its two maps every 30 minutes. Presumably, the Slurp Rush map will join that rotation, but not until after an introductory period in which it is the only map available.
Rechargar, presumably inspired by the similar resurgence mode of Call of Duty Warzone, launched last summer in construction and zero construction varieties and was an immediate success. Almost a year later, Reload is Fortnite’s clear No. 2 after Battle Royale, attracting much more concurrent players than the permanent OG mode that Epic fell in December.
