Google’s latest flagship phones are there, earlier than usual, spreading the new design, the equipment and even more AI features than the last time. The range now consists of four devices – the Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro, the Pixel 9 Pro XL and the Pixel 9 Pro Plé. For the first time, consumers in India can buy the four handsets. I used the smallest Pixel 9, at the price of RS. 79 999, for a few days now and here is an overview of what is new with the basic pixel.
First, Pixel 9 has a new design compared to Pixel 8 of last year. The sides are now flat such as an iPhone 15 or a Samsung Galaxy S24, the back camera visor is now replaced by a pill-shaped camera bar which continues to sit horizontally on the rear panel, and the front beautiful pits are now uniform. Despite the new design of the camera bar, you can always say that it is a pixel from afar. The protection of the glass is also new, which is now Gorilla Glass Vict 2, in the front and back. The phone continues to keep the IP68 note of the model of last year.

Google has wrapped a slightly 6.3 -inch larger screen on the Pixel 9, which makes the phone higher compared to Pixel 8. The display is always an OLED panel with full HD + resolution and a refresh rate from 60 to 120 Hz, but it is now more brilliant. You also get a fingerprint reader in ultrasound difficulty instead of the optics found in the old model. The familiar camera visor is no longer there at the back and has been replaced by a pill -shaped bar. However, the bar of the camera exceeds as before. The phone obtains a double -camera configuration at the rear with the same primary camera sensor as last year, but has an improved 48 -megapixel sensor. The glass pill -shaped box inside the camera bar is also larger than last year. The front camera is the same as the Pixel 8, a 10.5 megapixel sensor, but now obtains the auto-focus.

The Pixel 9 range is the first in recent history of Pixel not to obtain the latest Android version at launch, but it is because the phones were also launched earlier than usual. Thanks to the gemini nano model operating on disk, you get Android 14 ready to use and a long list of AI features. The phone is powered by the new G4 Tensor G4 4 Nm chipset associated with 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Finally, you get a slightly larger battery of 4,700 mAh with the new Pixel 9, but it always supports the fast load of 27 W as before. The phone also has wireless load.
The Google Pixel 9 offers beautiful upgrades compared to Pixel 8 from last year, in particular with the new ultra-large camera, a brighter display and the G4 Tensor.
