One of the most interesting aspects of any Sim Life for me will always be the generational game. While the worlds of the game of Inzoi and the Sims are frozen in time, the families that inhabit them are not. They live, work, have children and die, like us. It is a fun way and not so serious about reflecting on some potentially very heavy issues. But the first thing is first: you can’t have a generational game until you start making some babies. And in Inzoi, Making babies is a little less simple than in real life.
As in the Sims, their zois cannot get pregnant in Inzoi simply having sex. Your zoi can participate in all carnal activities that can convince other zois to do with them, but they will simply not get pregnant by accident. To try to get pregnant, your zois will first have to marry and move together. Obviously, it is not a minor task, of course, attracting a life partner, but we can help with that with the romance guide of Inzoi, which covers flirting, getting married and, of course, being naked.
How to have a baby in Inzoi
Only female zois can get pregnant, and currently there are no adoption, subrogation options or no other alternative method. But something or all that is added at some later time.
Once you have managed to hook your Zoi spouse, the romance section of the dialog box will have a new option to “suggest having a baby”, just above the standard “we go to bed, if you know what I mean.” Selecting this will trigger a sexual event if the other Zoi agrees. It is not guaranteed that pregnant by choosing this option, but will have no chance if you do not choose this option.
Once the act itself is completed, you can give your zoi a pregnancy test to see if it worked. If so, just try again. Yeah did I work, and your zoi is now pregnant, the waiting game begins. The full term of pregnancy is three daysAnd it did not seem too difficult to navigate: my zoi experienced some erratic humor modifiers, but nothing that really made her behave differently, so it was not a big problem to go through that. But you can Make your pregnant zois vomit in the bathroom when they feel sick.
When the time comes to have the baby, there will be a small exclamation point in the corner of your zoi’s portrait at the bottom of the screen. You click that to give birth, that your zoi will do just where you are. After a brief scene that shows his zoi holding the new baby in a hospital bed, he will return to where he was, with the baby in a crib next to him. You will be asked to choose a name, and then you are configured, welcome to virtual fatherhood.
