Indian-Origin Man Found Dead A Day After He Was Reported Missing In US

A 30 -year -old man of Indian origin was found dead in Princeton, Texas, on Sunday in what local authorities suspect that it is a suicide case, but investigations are ongoing.

Abhishek Kolli, from Gudivada in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, had been reported as missing a day before, which caused a search operation that involves the members of the law and community members.

His body was discovered the next day, leaving his family and devastated loved ones.

Kolli, who had been married for only one year, had previously lived with his wife in Phoenix, Texas, before moving to Princeton.

His twin brother, Aravind Kolli, revealed that Abhishek had been unemployed during the last six months and was fighting with financial difficulties.

“His sudden step is an unbearable loss for us,” Aravind shared. “We want to honor your memory with dignity, without the shadow of financial concern about us.” To cover the expenses of the funeral and transport his body back to India, Aravind launched a Gofundme campaign, which has already raised more than USD 59,000 in less than 24 hours.

The effusion of support highlights the strong sense of the community among the American Indians, and the Telugu community in the United States has intervened to help with financial and logistic support.
