Compared to most brands of Chinese smartphones in India, Iqoo seems to slow it down and stable with its product launch cycles. It has become a little heavier at 196 grams, but all of this seems impressive since this phone with a reasonable 7.9 mm size manages to accommodate a battery of 6400 mAh and to offer an IP64 rating for resistance to dust and water.

In terms of basic specifications, the NEO 10R has a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 SOC which replaces the old Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 of the model from last year. It also offers two RAMs and storage options: 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM LPDDR5X and 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 and UFS 4.1 storage, respectively.

The other large upgrade is its battery. A 6400 mAh Lithium-ion battery uses new silicon carbon technology and manages to maintain a larger load with the same imprint and thickness as the old model. The wired load speeds went from 120 W to the previous model to a more temperate 80W.

The latest flagship killer of Iqoo now manages Funtouch OS 15, which is based on Android 15. Although the accent is put on personalization, the software is now delivered with native IA tools, which will be interesting to test.
