Kraigg Bathwaite has resigned as Western Indies Testing Captain after three years on paper.
The 32 -year -old player took Western Indies in 39 tests and guided them to his first victory in the test in Australia for 27 years last year with a dramatic victory in Brisbane.
His replacement has not yet been appointed for the next tour of three Australian tests through the Caribbean that takes place in June and July.
Bathwaite became a trial captain in March 2021, assuming the position of Jason Holder, and also led the Western Indies to a victory in the series of evidence at home against England in 2022.
The Wicktkeeper Shai Hope batter will replace Rovman Powell as the T20 captain along with his role as an international pattern of a day.
Hope, 31, will take charge during the multiple tour of the West Indies through England and Ireland at the end of this summer, lives in Cricket Sky SportsIn June.
