The chimera, the FPS driven by the history of the developers previously known as 4a Games Ukray, has been delayed, just after the play reviews were launched.
Dmytro Lymar, co -founder and CEO of developer Rearn, said in a statement that the study found “some unforeseen challenges” related to the chimera was the first title of the company as an independent study.
“We are doing everything possible to address issues as quickly as possible, while navigating the circumstances we face here in Ukraine,” said the developer, recognizing the Russian offensive ongoing Ukraine.
Earlier this week, a Russian strike in kyiv killed at least a dozen people as part of the worst attack against the capital city since the summer of 2024.
Lymar added: “We thank you for your patience, your continuous support and your understanding. We hope to take the chimera in the player’s hands as soon as possible.”
More updates will be announced “as soon as we can,” said the developer.
The chimera was delayed after people reviewed it. The first wave of reviews was generally not very positive, and the internal games called it “disappointing” and Wccftech tagged it “short but not sweet.”
The game is established in 2064, a time when most national states are extinguished due to human and natural disasters that caused the collapse of global systems. In this context, private military companies are thriving, with players assuming the role of a PMC operation that fights through Latin America and fighting other factions.
