Ukrainian tennis player Lesia Tsurenko has made a series of accusations against an unidentified tennis executive.
In a publication about X, the 35 -year -old woman accused the person of “mental abuse” and added that he has not received the support of the WTA when he reported the abuse.
Tsurenko said he sought the support of the WTA, but nothing has been done, claiming that he received more abuse. Sky Sports News He has contacted the WTA to comment.
“I talked about that openly and directly. I tried to seek protection and justice within the WTA,” Tsurenko wrote.
“But in response, he faced indifference and injustice, which led to a prolonged moral decline.
“Pain, fear, panic attacks, humiliation, information retention, harassment of my team to silence me … and this is not even the complete list of what I had to endure.
“The WTA tour refused to protect a woman, a player, a human being. Instead, the WTA tour decided to protect a person in a leadership position.
“My last chance to defend myself, defend my rights, my dignity and avoid such acts of violence in sports is to seek justice in court.
“And this is the path that will take since the end of last year, pray to God so that no one experiences what I am happening and that all are retained.”
