From the recent Nintendo Direc on Switch 2 and its games, the company has updated its website with details about some of the announced games. While it is not updated worldwide, the website has given us an idea about how much games for Switch 2 will end up costing.
Dressed by the Social Network Platform X User Elesnicho, launch title for Switch 2, Mario de Mario KartIt has a price of € 89.99 for physical edition. The digital launch has a price of € 79.99. This is a big step for Nintendo games, which have traditionally stuck to the pricing segments of € 60 and € 70.
Notable on the Spanish Switch 2, Kong Bananza donkey It has its price similar to some of the subsequent games of the Switch library. The digital launch of Kong Bananza donkey It has a price of € 69.99, while a physical copy has a price of € 79.99.
Taking into account the differences in the price of both titles, it seems that Nintendo will consider the prices of their titles in the form of play per game. This also allows the company to have greater flexibility, since it can do and release smaller -scale games without having to match the same price of € 79.99 that would probably imply a great release.
Interestingly, for both games, there is a difference of € 10 in the price between physical and digital versions. This could end up being a trend that we see forward in other games for Switch 2 as well.
