Milestone Systems’s data video technology made another jump in 2024: financially, overcoming the market with a growth of 18.7 percent in net income, reaching the 2 billion DKK brand, and technologically, with the strategic acquisition of Rightcam Analytics and Arcules Cloud. Milestone is now ready to expand and overcome the limits of technology.
2024 saw a remarkable transformation and success for Milestone. Disassembling new land through the strategic acquisitions of the analysis cloud and arcululas of Resetcam, we develop our product offers and strengthen our associations.
“Milestone has delivered exceptional results in 2024, marked by significant growth in both income and profits,” says Lars Larsen, financial director of Milestone.
Net income increased to DKK 2 billion DKK 1.7 billion in 2023, reflecting a robust increase of 18.7%. This is a duplication of the income of 2020. The profits (EBIT) reached DKK 106.8 million.
“We believe that this is a very satisfactory result, underlining the resistance and strength of our business,” says Lars Larsen.
Strengthen innovation and resilience
The year of 2024 was also marked by global challenges and greater pressure on democratic values, impacting people, societies and companies.
“Milestone and our colleagues and partners have shown great resistance and have achieved impressive results in a moment of significant change worldwide. Focusing on strengthening our innovation means that today, we are well positioned to be the favorite of the era enabled by the technology he expects,” says Lars Larsen.
23 percent of the income of the milestones were spent on research and development, in total DKK 478 million, reflecting the commitment to innovation. This is an increase of 34 percent compared to 2023.
Exciting perspectives for 2025
On the basis of transformative achievements in 2024 with the strategic acquisitions of Rightcam Video Analytics and Arcules Cloud, the approach in 2025 will be further amplifying the investments of milestones in technology, talent and experience.
“Our priorities are clear: integrate the regula and the arcules without problems in our operations and culture, expand our presence in the market with a strong product offer and continue to exceed the limits of responsible innovation in video technology and AI,” says Thomas Jensen, executive director in Milestone.
