Rachel Chinouriri’s success was a slow burn. She prefers it this way

When Rachel Chinouriri played the London O2 Arena last month, she cried.

The independent songwriter of New Wave was there as a support law for Sabrina Carpenter, only a week after her first Brit prices, where she was nominated for the artist of the year.

“There is always a risk as a operator, that people could be completely not interested, but it was the complete opposite,” she said.

“Having the whole arena singing songs with you is such a blessed feeling.”
