According to reports, a Tinto sanctuary that is believed to influence a similar location in Ghost of Tsushima has banned tourists after an unleashed incident that involves foreigners. Called Watazumi Sanctuary, the Japanese site is located on the island of Tsushima, which is located southeast of South Korea.

Automaton reports that an official announcement of the Sanctuary of Watazumi on Instagram revealed the prohibition, stating that it is entering into force due to “a serious and unforgivable act of lack of respect committed by foreigners (s).” There were no more details about the incident, although apparently it is not the first time that problems occur on the site. It is believed that Watazumi’s sanctuary was the inspiration for the ghost of the Tsushima Scarlet Roca Sanctuary.
