In an attempt to expand its user base in India, Reddit has updated its automatic translation function to admit the automatic translation of publications and comments to Hindi.
“With this expansion, the authentic content is now accessible and with more people who work with people in one of the most spoken languages of India,” the company wrote in an update of a blog post. Reddit said he would add support to Bengali soon too.
Reddit began to test the automatic translation function of the entire site last May, starting with the Frenchman. In September, the company launched the function in more than 35 countries and added support for Spanish and Portuguese.
Earlier this month, the company launched its search function with AI, answers, to users in India, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore and the United Kingdom previously, the function was only available for a limited number of English -speaking users in the United States.
