Noah Balta will not play this weekend while waiting for the sentence for assault charges.
The 25 -year -old has not appeared this season for Richmond and will face the Court next week after declaring assault causing real bodily damage.
Balta could face a possible prison term for the incident.

While there were suggestions that could present against Fremantle in Gather Round, the club has made an error next to the precaution according to Tom Morris of 9News Melbourne.
“Noah Balta will not play AFL football this weekend, since he waits for the sentence for those assault charges,” he said Thursday afternoon.
“Richmond met this afternoon and decided that his conditioning and the fact that he has not played this weekend means that he will not face Fremantle.
“The plan was for VFL to play this weekend … but there are no VFL games this weekend and the Tigers have chosen to leave it out.
“It remains to be seen if he plays next week or if he will play the game on the eve of Anzac’s day, which is two days after being sentenced.”
Balta has played more than 100 games in the Yellow and Black Guernsey since he debuted for the Tigers in 2018 and is one of the most important players in the club.
In other news for Richmond, adolescent eaves Jonty Faull will make his debut against the Dockers after being selected with selection No.14 in the draft last year.
