PCIM Expo 2025
Rohde & Schwarz will show its latest solutions and advanced techniques to test and analyze electronic power systems and components in PCIM Expo 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany. In the company’s stand (Hall 7, Booth 166), The Spotlight will be in solutions using the company’s avant -garde test instruments to address the outcasting challenges of broadband semiconductors of the next generation as GAN and SIC.
Rigorous tests and advanced characterization methods help design engineers improve the performance, efficiency and reliability of their electronic power designs based on SIC and GAN devices, used in pioneer industries such as electronic mobility, renewable energy or AI data centers. Rohde & Schwarz will bring a selection of its integral T&M portfolio to Stand 166 at Hall 7 of PCIM Expo 2025, which will take place from May 6 to 8 at the Nuremberg exhibition center. Test solutions are adapted for electronic energy applications where high efficiency, rapid switching speeds, improved power density and high temperature operation.
Broadband analysis
In the center of the configurations presented there will be the isolated survey system R & S RT-Ziso de Rohde & Schwarz. This next -generation isolated probe has established new standards with unprecedented precision, sensitivity, dynamic range and bandwidth for broad band -band power designs (WBG) with SIC and GAN. Rohde and Schwarz will show the advantage of the isolated survey system over single-end probes in a configuration to investigate the switching behavior of a gan-masty.
Double pulse test
The double pulse test is a method to evaluate the switching performance of SIC and GAN -based power devices. Rohde & Schwarz is collaborating with the experts of the PE-Systems GmbH industry for a stable and precise approach for double pulse tests using the R & S Mxo 5 o’clock, next generation of Rohde & Schwarz with eight channels in combination with the RT-Ziso RT-Ziso. In PCIM, visitors can experience precise, reliable and fast double pulse tests on Wolfspeed 1200 V sic devices, typically used as traction investors in the automotive industry.
Automated load load tests
Load load tests used to be a manual process that requires a lot of time to verify the loading response of a dollar converter to variable input voltage levels, using only a few reference points. For this application, also, Rohde & Schwarz collaborates with Pe-Systems GmbH, who offers test automation software. In combination with the MXO 5 oscilloscope and the RT-Ziso isolated poll system, this solution not only reduces the general test time, but also maintains the same number of test points. Component characterization

Users can easily characterize the voltage dependence on the capacitance in the central components of power converters such as MLCC with the R&S LCX. Combined with a scanning software tool, users can make comprehensive scan measurements and show them in numerous pictures. The MFIA impedance analyzer of Zurich Instruments AG (a subsidiary since 2021) is capable of impedance spectroscopy for low impedance components, such as derivation resistances and DC link condenser and high impedance systems. It offers measurement modes for impedance analysis on frequency and time, as well as other features, such as integrated oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer capabilities.
