In case you did not know, Donald Trump and Elon Musk have been running by eliminating military heroes from the websites of the Department of Defense because they are not white.

A group of enraged Senate Democrats who served in the army led by Tammy Duckworth, Ranking Sasc Jack Reed, the SVAC ranking member, Richard Blucenthal, Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego, issued a joint statement that criticizes Trump and Musk:

Republicans claim that they want our military to continue to be the world’s largest combat force, but instead of focusing on improving our military preparation or counteracting foreign adversaries such as China, Donald Trump and the unleashed billionaire Elon Musk is freeing a meaningless and counterproductive cultural war that is damaging our military and denying the service of the US heroes.

We should celebrate the heroes who have strengthened our army, allowing them to inspire the next generation to serve and defend our nation. By eliminating the records of the Americans who bravely responded to the call to serve our country in uniform, the Trump administration is worsen the recruitment crisis of our military, decorting to Americans eligible to be volunteers to serve and send a message that their service to our country is not welcome.
